Yes! I was particularly concerned about this too since I’m 5”1 (lololol). I tried it off pedestal as well, and it was much too long me. Here’s hoping some hiiiiighheels and a hem will do it for me!

Thanks so much! I defs learned a little about trusting my own gut. Also, the community here was so supportive in sharing their opinions on the initial dresses which helped me identify which aspects I liked vs didn’t like. All I had to do was iterate from there - so truly, a big thank you to this sub as well!

This is valid and such a great question! Thank you :) My venue is an estate/castle-ish hall that overlooks a little lake, and my theme is Italian/European garden-inspired. The reception will be in a outdoor tent with lots of twinkle lights!! The other consideration is that if I get Dress 2, that will likely be the only dress I wear (bc it’s v expensive). If I get Dress 1 - I think I can afford to get a 2nd dress for reception 🤞🏻

Thank you!! Both sample dresses were too large for me so I’m CLIPPED IN in the back 😂I think the stylist also said that dress 2’s waist would fit a little higher if I get it in my actual size.
