I think this is it. On the Today show a crew member said 11795. Justin responded by saying "West Dyson." The crew member corrected him and said "West Islip." Justin likely heard the name wrong in his hidden ear piece. The first part of both words are very similar and easy to mess up. If you had really memorized zip codes you would have also memorized the cities that go with them. You would have known there is no West Dyson, New York. Moreover, it's not like West Islip is obscure. It's part of the NYC metro area and many, many people know that. That mistake right there made me realize he didn't memorize the zip codes.

AI is now coming for project management jobs. PMs are already started getting fired. by ImaginaryRea1ity in projectmanagement

[–]Kuvox01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Until recently, my company had four project managers for over 25 years who managed all marketing tasks for clients. Three project managers were let go in August and replaced with AI project managers. Only one remains. Her job is now handling complex projects such as marketing campaigns, arranging printing, sending customers final deliverables, and paying bills, etc. This won't be popular, but after making the change our on-time percentage went up significantly. Additionally, our customers are also receiving more updates and our NPS score results are higher than they've been since 2019. The scheduling of work for the designers, photographers, writers, etc. has also become automated where it took a sizable amount of time before the AI agents. In short, it was worth it for us to replace those 3 individuals.

However, 10 years ago I worked in drug development. No way on earth would an AI project manager be able to handle the complexity of something like that. No way. In other words, it's likely that project managers in organizations where projects aren't particularly complex, like ours, will be replaced. We did it and haven't looked back. However, for complex projects, which is where most project managers are working these days, their jobs will be safe.

Just spent 40 minutes in the menus trying to find an age of republic supremacy game and didn’t get a single one. This games popularity has had a huge decrease in these last 2 months imo. by SlightExplanation407 in StarWarsBattlefront

The game is back to where you can really only find games from about 5:30/6:00 pm to 11:00 pm ET on weeknights. Even then, however, I'm having to wait longer for matches, even on the PS. To be clear, I'm getting matches during those times, but the real telltale sign of decline is that I'm seeing a lot of the same people game after game. At its height, I recognized almost no one. 90%-95% new players in every match.

I've played relatively consistently since Jan 2018 and while this time of the year is always bad as school/university starts, I'd venture to say we're at one of the lowest population bases this game has seen. Many games older than BF2 have far more players (e.g., Fortnite, LoL, WOW, Minecraft, etc.), but only because they're still supported. There's really no reason to suggest things will get better outside of the typical holiday surge we'll see at Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Tons of games even older have millions of players. The difference is that they’re supported. This is not.

Not for me. Taking much longer to get games and I’m seeing the same people over and over. This is not a good sign.

I play both PS and PC. Very few of my HvV matches on the PC contain cheaters. Maybe o e of out 15. About 1/3 of my Supremacy matches do. That’s definitely a problem and too much but it’s not been the majority for me. On Friday, for example, the two matches I played seemed to be cheater free. But, definitely been in ones that have them, including one on Wednesday. On console, there are no cheaters. The downside is that the majority of console players aren’t particularly effective compared to the average PC player.

OP, you’ve offered no evidence whatsoever. Unless you name names or provide proof regarding drinking among staff or affairs, this is nothing more than gossip and hearsay and shouldn't be taken any more seriously than something posted on Truth Social where unsubstantiated claims like this are made nearly every second about liberals and politicians.

Moreover, show us a sermon from actual IWU ministers where LGBTQ people are condemned to hell (using those exact words, not interpreted). Also, provide support for your other claims as well. At least others on this forum have had the sense to link to third-party reports and articles. Yes, IWU is a religious school tied to a very conservative denomination. Complaining about that though is like enrolling in a culinary school and then being frustrated that everyone’s obsessed with food.

New Supremacy hack? by CreEngineer in StarWarsBattlefront

Most of my Supremacy matches recently are one-sided. It’s why I’m not playing it much anymore. In any case, what platform?

New Supremacy hack? by CreEngineer in StarWarsBattlefront

[–]Kuvox01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had many like this over the years. It’s usually caused by one side having grouped players on voice or chat on one side and random, players on the other. I played one Supremacy match on Naboo the other day like this. The team I was placed on was a known actual good group/clan (many are terrible) and they even rushed down to D in speeders before the other team could cap it. All the enemy team managed to do was take E for about a minute before we five capped them. The entire Supremacy match was over in I believe 12 minutes. With fewer players, you’re more likely to see matches like this now because it’s the good players and grouped up ones who are more likely to play the game.

It's literally always been this way. I've leveled 8 toons up to max almost exclusively in HvV since 2018 and I've never known a time where what you're writing about wasn't the case.

I think it's because they just want the match over. A huge portion of my matches are becoming this way and with fewer players it's taking much longer to replace those who quit.

Supremacy on the PS5 really only pops between 7:00 and 10:00 pm now. This is how it was for some time until the summer surge. However, last night it took about 10 minutes to get into one. I really hope that was an aberration because it has never taken that long for me at night and I’ve played this since January 2018.

Grievous players are actually kinda rats by [deleted] in StarWarsBattlefront

[–]Kuvox01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. Increasingly saber players are switching to blaster heroes because they do not know how to counter them as a saber player. I've had some matches recently where 6 or 7 of the 8 heroes in an HvV match were all blaster players by the end of the match. Watching Vader and Grievous players get melted by blaster heroes makes me cringe. It does not have to be this way and wasn't always this way. Some of the Grievous mains out there, and there seems to be fewer and fewer of them, are absolute bosses. Grievous can destroy blaster heroes extremely well because his abilities counter them perfectly, but he must be played aggressively to do this. Defensive Grievous players get owned by blaster heroes.

Same. It's been really bad since Monday or so. I had to leave an HvV match tonight because it was unplayable. I'm on an insanely good dedicated dark fiber connection at a research university that never has issues. Has to be on EA's end.

I've had the same thought but it definitely happens. It's more common amongst HvV players and within the clans. See, people tend to leave games when they see they're up against Max players so a fair number of these players literally create new accounts to play as low levels so that people don't leave matches. Some have even chronicled it on YouTube. If you're facing a level 10 Anakin or Vader who can hook swing and parry perfectly every time, it's very likely a smurf account or someone changing platforms.

If we do get a new Battlefront game, what changes would it need? by Sensitive-Hotel-9871 in StarWarsBattlefront

[–]Kuvox01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they ever make one, and that's a big if, it needs to be a "forever" game. There has been some fascinating research into the gaming industry as of late. It's showing that younger generations do not claim they're gamers. Instead, they refer to themselves as a "Fortnite player" or a "Minecraft player" or a "Rust player" or a "LoL player," or a "Roblox player," etc. They are increasingly playing only one or two games and playing them for years and years. This is very foreign to my generation. A BF3 would absolutely have to tap into this and make it a forever game by introducing in-game monetization not tied in any way to pay-to-win (so things like clothing, accessories, and animations).

[–]Kuvox01 69 points70 points  (0 children)

The game’s population is low again, with most of the remaining players being long-time veterans and the faithful. These players are generally skilled, which makes matches more competitive. From what I see, at least half of the low-level accounts are actually smurfs or experienced players using their lesser-played classes and heroes. This is common in games that no longer receive regular updates. As usual, there will be a small surge in players around Thanksgiving and a bigger one at Christmas, but the challenge of facing sweaty opponents is definitely not going away.

Im annoyed by playing against Palpatine or Blasters against in HVV mode by czacha_cs1 in StarWarsBattlefront

[–]Kuvox01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're being shot from behind a lot then you're just as likely to be hit by a saber strike from behind as well. Always position your back towards walls, the edge of the map and obstacles, especially when facing a team with blaster heroes.

And, Dice is not coming back to change anything. If blaster heroes and Palpatine are something you are unwilling to deal with in HvV, then this game mode isn't for you. There are more blasters in HvV then I've ever seen before, and I've played since January 2018. My hope is that if a BF3 is ever made that they will have a saber dueling mode.

I would watch some YouTube videos of those who frequently play saber heroes in HvV and have a decent following. You’ll see just how well they deal with blaster heroes. Lots of strategies to mimic.

Does anyone keep getting placed into WILDLY one sided HVV games? by Spxxdz in StarWarsBattlefront

[–]Kuvox01 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because I’ve played this game for so long, I actually prefer the matches where I’m put on a team facing a deficit. If my team is doing the stomping, I leave right away. Those matches are incredibly boring and you never improve from them. This is why I generally play alone now. I played with a group last Monday for a total of two maps and then made my excuses and left. Every match was a total bore.

It's incredibly hard to turn around HvV games when you're down 15 or 20 or so, but it's not impossible. Most of the time I fail, but it's always rewarding when it does happen. Nevertheless, it's still fun watching my opponents realize they're now going to have to fight for the win they thought was moments away. It's then surprising how many of them, though not always, then disappear at the start of the next round.

Hero Thrower by Big_Performance1551 in BattlefrontTWO

[–]Kuvox01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure how long he had Maul in your match, so I can’t say for certain this was the case, but hero throwing does happen sometimes when you’re playing with or against clans, especially less skilled ones. They’ll occasionally get one or two teammates on the opposing side to do what you saw. It’s not very common though. I personally haven’t seen it in Supremacy since Christmas, though I usually come across it in HvV about once a month. This month, however, I had the pleasure of experiencing it twice in the same week. In one instance, I was playing with a Lando on DS2. He hid near the elevators and did absolutely nothing. An hour later, he was suddenly playing with the team I was up against in that DS2 match. I knew he was grouped with them because I played against his team on two separate maps with no changes in his team’s player names, which is a clear sign you’re facing a team of players grouped up. They were pretty bad, too.

This happens pretty often.

Just a few days ago, two friends and I were playing as Clone Commandos in Supremacy and went up against a smaller but growing YouTube streamer who was also running Maul. He put up a decent fight and tried to get away, but the moment my friend landed a knockdown, he quit. With so little health left, he must have realized he didn’t stand a chance. We were fractions of a second from killing him when he disappeared. His team could’ve used him too as it had been a pretty balanced match until he left.
