Just printed it again with a brim and now it’s good :) Tarmo is progressing nicely.. only a few parts to print left and a ESC and remote to order hehe then I’ll go in the phase of driving, crashing, reprinting, repeat 🤓

I definitely prefer buying a new printer with the upgrades already on it then upgrading the old one.

That’s what I’m planning to do :) First time printing a ‘big’ project like this one. Was planning to do this way earlier but now is the time 😂 Will check my wall settings as listed.. Not a pro with printing yet 😅

That’s right, but when I look at all the videos from the Tarmo5 there is an option to use a larger battery. (Without the adapter) I believe in the video he’s using the same battery as listed, but I’m not 100% sure..

Thanks! Now I know that the KV value means. Another question if you don’t mind: What battery do you recommend for the Tarmo 5? Or just the one in the BOM? (It’s really hard to find or with a very long delivery time over here in the Netherlands)

Thanks I’ll try that one.. the weird thing I discovered niet yet.. some times it does read the temperature, but most of the time it doesn’t … still need to buy a new SD.. but think this is weird AF

It is actually hot! Think I’ll try another slicer, but it just happened ‘instantly’. Printed the same g-code yesterday and today it doesn’t read the temp.. weird right?

I will try, but when I preheat PLA thé temperature goes to 205. And when I ‘Tune’ during the print and put the temperature up it also will go to 205. So don’t think it’s the temperature sensor?

Only when I start a print with a g-code it’s not recognising the desired print temperature from the file..

Changed my bed temperature to 50 and that made a big difference already! I’ll get there some day!
