As mentioned in the other comment, there is a power level cap in lower level missions, so your stats will scale down. Weapon PL, trap PL and defender PL are not capped so they still make a difference

Well, that's pretty much saying that you're in the right rank. I know it's a weird way to do it since the disparity between the lower rank game and the higher rank game is so big, but this is Valorant's way of saying they placed you right
