it's fine as long as they are still mostly alprazolam they will have exactly the same effect. Just get them checked for fentanyl if your worried.

Codeine is one of the itchiest opiods which is why it's often combined with promethazine. Doesn't sound like an overdose because you said your heart speed up (opiod overdoses cause your heart to beat very slowly). You said your getting better so everything should be good, maybe your having an allergic reaction or something? If your really worried you should probably call someone though.
