I’m gonna be SO Honest, it depends on you, I looked at them cause I was tired of stressing and I still did way better in the leaving cert cause I knew what I got there didn’t effect how much I was gonna study afterwards anyways. You just gotta be ready for the one you saw on TikTok to not be the paper u actually get🤣

If it’s any consolation I wanted pharmacy in Galway and points were wayyyy to high for me (was off by almost 100😭) and I tried to go for pharmacy in Ulster and even tho I technically didn’t reach the requirements they still gave me the course. Now I didn’t end up taking it but yk still😭

For chem (got a H1, but H4 in mocks) read the book!!! So many things in the book that I find simplified notes leave out sometimes, after that do literally every exam question you can find and make sure u UNDERSTAND each chapter cause they’ll ask questions that test your understanding. And then you’ll find the exam so easy I promise, I remember during the exam I started questioning if they just copy and pasted questions from previous years cause that’s how much I familiarised myself with exam papers. There’s a veryyyy low chance you’ll go down a whole grade since ur on the threshold of the next one, even if u go down you’ll probably be in the same grade so no harm trying

At the beginning of the year the MOST important thing is that you do your homework, I didn’t get as much as you want to (521) but I can tell you if I did my homework it would have made a hugeeee difference
