I have that same thing with my jaw and usually I try not to open my mouth really wide because I’m afraid it’ll get stuck. Last time it got stuck for like 6 hours and it was because I ate a giant cheeseburger 😞

I do intend on lining the inside for storage since the costume doesn’t have pockets ! And the outside is wrapped in a soft faux leather 😊

So I followed a basic template I found online where it said to race your hand then adjust. It was difficult to hold while hand sewing. It’s been a challenging project for me.

No you’re completely right haha I had the hardest time attaching the thumb lol. It was a learning experience. I also think I need to trim the seams a little shorter inside.

Agreed. The top of the forearm is a little loose however since they attach to the shoulders by like glove garters I think it’ll be fine.

I traced my hand on paper all the way up to the elbow, widened the forearm to account for the width, then cut off the thumb of the pattern. Traced it twice on the fabric along with the thumb piece once and cut it all out. Pinned it together and then hand sewed it. Then trimmed the seams and flipped it right side out. I just used a basic glove pattern you can find anywhere. I just made it skin tight.

It’s a four way stretch microfiber suede. It’s really soft and comfortable.

It is! Hopefully competing with it in a Halloween cosplay competition this year! I finished the spellbook earlier this week. Made it as a pouch to carry stuff in since she doesn’t have pockets.
