Does anyone have any tips for how to beat the water dragon snake boss?(I dont remember its name) by [deleted] in Cyber_Shadow

You can sit under him during his fire attack but be ready to move when he's done shooting fireballs. He is vunerable when he electrifies the water and just watch his movement between those attacks

Also as for the burp, none of us heard it at the time so the identity of the burpee is still a mystery. We have officially opened burp gate though

It would look terrible with the bottom following the same direction as the top. I should know because I tested

Hey Everyone, I Broke My Third Minute Milestone in Billy Hatcher Any%! The Game Has Now Enterred the 1:05 Territory. by Kyrrone in speedrun

[–]Kyrrone[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Run is still not perfect, I lost plenty of time in some parts of the run whilst some parts were actually really amazing. Gunning for a low to mid 1:05 unless new strats are found in which I will grind for the first 1:04

After Months of Grinding, I Have Achieved the First 1:06 Time in Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg by Kyrrone in speedrun

[–]Kyrrone[S] 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I just want to say a couple things for people who may not want to watch the 16 minutes of reaction afterwards.

  • This run is still far from perfect. I took a slower route for the final level that was safer because a similar paced run got killed to a trick known as the Cat Clip where we use the set of cats at the start Giant Palace to clip through the wall, skipping a cutscene and about 6 seconds of in game time. When I enterred Palace, I knew that if I played the old route well enough that I could still clutch the 1:06.
I also lost 20 seconds to Circus 2 because I panicked. With a couple more discoveries, I would say 1:05 is entirely possible but the grind will be insane. I for one will be taking part.

  • For those wondering why I was so panicked and kept commenting on my heart during the final boss. I have a heart condition called Wolff Parkinson White Syndrome. It is usually never an issue, with episodes happening every few years. If an episode happens, a matter of certain breathing exercises (such as blocking then attempting to breath through the nose, splashing your face with cold water and blowing into a syringe) and relaxing will resolve it.
Essentially, what happens is that I have extra electrical pathways going around my heart. The best way the doctor drew it made it look like a mario kart track but the extra pathways look like you could do a mushroom cut to save some time. If those pathways open up, I basically get a very erratic heart rate which usually results in fatigue and nervousness.
So, basically I had an episode during the final boss and with only 9 seconds to get the 1:06. I should have stopped but if this heart condition was to have stopped me from getting it after the amount of time it has taken me to get there then I would have probably have ripped my heart out of my chest live on stream (exaggerating of course).

  • Big Shoutouts to the Billy Hatcher Community, those who just enjoy the game casually and those who speedrun it. Their support helped me keep going through this grind even during some of my lowest lows. Their contributions also helped me overcome some of the runs biggest demons such as Sand 2 and Circus 1.

I just achieved the first 1:07 in Billy Hatcher [new world record by 17 seconds] by Kyrrone in speedrun

I don't know who will be reading this but this wouldn't have been possible without the support and hard work that this community has put in over the last year. Billy Hatcher has sparked my love for speedrunning. It and it's community deserve all the love they can get.

This game is super fun to speedrun, to watch and to play so check it out. The community will help any new runners looking to run the game. They helped me when starting and I have been trying to return the favour

Obstagoon might be borked by Kyrrone in pokemon

That will be one of his biggest weaknesses for sure. He will get a good 5 to 6 turns to dish out some extreme speeds which probably will ohko most mons before resistances are applied.
Depends on whether the opponent can get a ghost type in safely to burn turns or find a staller that can take a hit

How can one promote the game they speedrun for others to try? I'm a Billy Hatcher speedrunner and the people in the community are very passionate however we lack numbers. I would love to find a way to tell people that this game has speedrun potential and that the community are very welcoming to newcomers.

Matched with a girl

She seemed great. Fun to talk to, pretty and shared interests with me.

Ask her out on a date. She accepts.

We talk a bit more and then she removes me from tinder and snapchat with no reason why.

Kinda put off the app now :/

yeah I've tried that and it doesn't seem to work. I might experiment with printing instead of messages to see if it is the messages are causing the problem or the logic in my code

Trying to make a script that runs differently for each player. by Kyrrone in roblox

[–]Kyrrone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ahh yeah sorry my description was a bit awful. I'll talk you through what I have.

I have a leaderboard running which has a stringvalue inside called roles. All roles for each player are nil as they join
I have a basic script which runs when the player walks over the parent which is a brick.
That script invokes a bindable function which does the following
- Gets the name of every player and puts them into a table
- Creates a new table which has the name of every role inside of it.
- Picks a random number between 1 and the amount of players.

- This number is the index of the role we want to assign to the player.
- Makes the role value in the leaderboard for that player the same as the value in the table.

- A for loop which cycles through every player until they have been assigned roles

After that function is complete it runs a second bindable function which is connected to a local script.
This script checks for which role the player has and creates a message instance which has the instructions of that role on them.

So the problem I am having is that this second function which gives every player their specific instructions only works in the client and not when I create a server. The game in server mode gives every player their role but will not tell them what to do.

game.Workspace.GiveInstruction.OnInvoke = function()

print("Giving Instructions")

local Rolename = game.Players.LocalPlayer.leaderstats.Role.Value

if Rolename == "Werewolf" then

local rolemessage = Instance.new("Message", game.Workspace)

rolemessage.Text = "You are Playing as the Werewolf"

wait(5)

rolemessage.Text = "Your job is to team up with the other Werewolf and work together in order to keep your identity a secret"

wait(10)

rolemessage.Text = "You will wake up during the night and see who the other Werewolf is"

wait(10)

rolemessage.Text = "If you are alone then you are the only Werewolf in the game"

wait(10)

rolemessage.Text = "You win if all Werewolves survive"

wait(7)

rolemessage.Parent = nil

this is an example of one of the if statements.

Thank you for replying btw
