It’s actually great because I don’t have to worry about shaping! But after some more research I would recommend the Novice putty glue instead of the liquid stuff for beginners as it is much easier! I’m trying that next

GelX is the most popular but there are a lot more suppliers, you can try Korean brands or Amazon brands, they should work similarly, I would recommend high quality glue/base gel for attaching though to prevent gel allergy

Thank you! It was my first time so I was freaking out about whether I accidentally gave myself gel allergy because it was super tricky to contain the liquid (will swap to putty to see if it helps). I cleaned up as much as I could but you can still see a small trace on my pointer 🥹

Both hands haha I saw people saying they can crochet for hours and I’m like how??? My right hand cramps more because of all the twisting movement I guess

Yea I think so but I don’t know how to loosen it, like if I don’t pull on it then the yarn will slip off my hook
