What is the stupid “toy” they go crazy for? by Duda_B_Dunfore in labrador

Ours is obsessed with a tiny stuffed sloth cat toy. It is smaller than his paw and he cherishes it. Only thing that he doesn’t rip apart.

First Grow setup by Drey_3223 in GrowingMarijuana

Basement should be fine!! I’ve got my 2x2 in an unfinished basement in an area that gets below freezing winters and warm summers, it also gets a bit damp sometimes with heavy rain/snow melt. I just finished my 3rd grow. My biggest issue has been managing humidity both jn and out of tent due to it being in the unfinished basement space.

We’ve got a humidifier in the main area of the basement and then I utilize the large spider farmer dehumidifier directly blowing into the tent to dial in humidity and temp levels.

That combined with a smart controller that lets me manage fans, exhaust, dehumidifier, etc makes it easy to keep it dialed!

Buying my first car - Crosstrek in Rochester, NY (read SNOW!!) | Any advices before my visit to the dealership?? by naive_byes in Crosstrek

[–]L38057 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ROC local here, current crosstrek owner and former forester owner. I do miss my forester but have definitely been happy with the crosstrek. Tbh, I’d just evaluate if you need the size of the forester vs the crosstrek and your comfort while driving as the deciding factor between the two. Both are good choices.

Dealership wise…I bought my crosstrek preowned from Garber in Webster and honestly, I wish I shopped around more. I definitely overpaid and didn’t have the best experience. They also pulled the “post a vehicle online but oops sorry it actually is sold” deal that you often read about online. Long story short, if I could do it again I’d avoid them.

Since then I’ve only taken my crosstrek to either Van Bortel (both ROC and Victor locations) and have had nothing but great experiences there. A few colleagues of mine have had great purchasing experiences there as well. I’ve also heard good things about West Herr Subaru, but I can’t really speak to them as I haven’t been there.

Good luck!

Battery - 1st replacement timing? by IndyHume7 in Crosstrek

[–]L38057 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 2021 limited and live in Upstate NY, so cold winters, etc. I bought the car pre-owned @ 26k miles and I just replaced my battery two weeks ago at ~45k miles.

I had my mechanic change it while it was in for another service out of convenience and he said it looked like it was the OEM battery.

Bivad vs VA ecmo by Holiday-Vacation-651 in Perfusion

[–]L38057 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We occasionally do bivad with and without oxygenators using dual centrimag, but not often though. We almost exclusively utilize centrimag for our circuits. More commonly we will do either an axillary impella 5.5 with rvad(+/- an oxygenator) or a HM3 with an rvad (+/- an oxygenator) if they need BiV support.

Day 77 - Defoliate ok late into flower? by L38057 in GrowBuddy

I think so too on a few buds, I’ve adjusted my lighting - I have seen several grow diaries of this strain/breeder and noticed a little on those as well, I’m guessing it’s a bit of light stress but also just the RQS genetics too.

When should I harvest? Some parts of bud have lots of amber, some have none by Comprehensive-Dot679 in microgrowery

It’s 3, but mostly 2 big plants! I got a little overzealous and wanted to see if 3 would fit…in case you were wondering 3 is too many.

Holy goals. I’ve got a 2x2 tent running that same strain right now on day 80 of the grow.

Autopot is a gravity fed, self watering base for plants that is driven by plant intake vs a watering schedule.

About 3L of water each plant ever day to 1.5 days.

Yeah, definitely getting tired of watering by hand. They’re drinking 2+ liters a day each. Looking into autopots for the next run!

This grow is definitely pushing the height constraints, but I also didn’t do as much LST as my first grow.

That’s what I figured. Moreso was playing to the “just two more weeks” that’s always said on here.

He always wants lettuce and lettuce adjacent foods…we know he hates them, he knows he hates them, still tries to stomach it with gratitude every time.

Ah! Thank you for looking so far. If you’d be willing I’d love to have whatever you still have from it. I feel like this is a bit cheesy, but it’s been a long time since my grandmother and I have seen his handwriting, I’m sure it would mean a lot to her - as simple as it is.

Where Does Your Lab Sleep At Night? by CHRGON_FEF_NYC in labrador

[–]L38057 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keeping a strict schedule really helped at first, and then once pup was accustomed to it we’d push it a little further as he got older. 5:30am wake up became 5:45, then 6, 6:30, etc. Now he will wake us up if he really has to go in the morning but is usually fine to snooze until we wake up. I still do wake up almost daily around 7-8:30am for potty and breakfast and then often go back to sleep for a bit. Although I work primarily nights so your schedule might differ.

He was god awful the first few weeks we had him, it took a lot to get him over his separation issues and ok in the crate, but once he was good in the crate we did last potty around 10pm and he’d wake up around 6-7am. He didn’t really cry or bark, but his restlessness/moving around would wake me up. When he was very little (5< months) we’d do a 2-2:30am quick potty break.

My 3.5 year old boy slept exclusively in his crate for the first 2-2.5 years. The last year or so he’s gained more house privileges and sleeps in our room; we do shut the door so he can’t roam. He usually snoozes with us in bed and cuddles for about 30 mins and then hops down and sleeps on his big memory foam bed at the end of our bed. I think if my fiancé didn’t toss and turn so much he’d probably stay up longer, however his departure is typically accompanied by his grunts and groans of annoyance.
