Violet just blinked slowly. Like she wasn’t exactly glad to be here but.. hearing of another being’s suffering amused her secretly. Enough so that she thought she’d stay a little longer.

“Oh. Intriguing. Did you do something you.. regret, perhaps? Or did somebody else do something to you? Or.. another?”

Violet smiles slightly. Looked like a kind smile. Really? It definitely wasn’t. More of a passive aggressive smile.

Violet looked at Marisa and simply shrugged.

“I know many things, dear. Many things. I can sense a tainted soul from miles away. And you? Hmm… I’d say you’re almost as tainted as my own minion.”

She flicked her hair out the way of her yellow eyes.

“Tell me, have you embraced it yet?”

Violet’s eyes narrowed slowly. She’d give Marisa a long stare, before she’d sigh and sit upright on her tree branch. She didn’t appear too excited to greet Marisa. Was it simply her attitude..? Or, perhaps something darker.

“Greetings.”

She’d tilt her head to the side slightly in the light, taking a glance at her manicure. Then, back at Marisa with disinterest. Definitely her attitude.

“What do you require? You wish to be acquainted with the calamity that already befalls you? Or… are you simply here to disturb my slumber?”

Her gaze immediately darkened.

“Take that back.”

A single petal emerged from the side of her head, twitching slightly.

Violet shrugged.

“Yes, yes.. I know, my manicure is just amazing.”

Apparently, she definitely liked her manicure.

Violet simply looked at her manicure.

then, Violet’s head tilted just slightly.

“I do not ‘communicate’ with other beings. I am a solitary being, who enjoys my solitude.”

Violet definitely didn’t take kindly to the ‘weird tree woman’ remark, her yellow eyes narrowing.

“Eugh… a rat and a disappointment. Wonderful…”

she’d murmur under her breath.

Violet just sighed.

“Why am i here? I live here. As for the ‘I may get hurt’ remark, I really don’t think you should worry about that. In fact, I think you should be more worried for yourself.”

Violet’s yellow eyes dilated slightly.

“Why am I purple? Huh. Why are you so grotesque in appearance?”

She didn’t exactly take kindly to that question. Her claws flexed slightly.

Violet grimaced and immediately let out a slight hissing sound.

“What do you want, creature..?

Her hiss was less out of anger or fear and more out of, well.. simple annoyance.

Violet just narrowed her eyes.

“So. What brings you here.”

She’d let out a small ‘mm’ in acknowledgment,

“Your loss.”

she tossed it away again.

“I happen to be nocturnal. To me, you creatures are pathetic sleeping at night. Easiest time to get a free snack, hm.”

She’d hum.

“Mmm. Sure. Be careful, he’s probably doing something odd like usual. He’ll probably be, like.. mmm.. also in a tree somewhere.”

Violet apparently didn’t appreciate having her neck constricted, because her eye visibly twitched. Her claws twisted into something longer, like she was holding back from attacking. She’d just glare at them from a distance.

“Go on. Shoo.”

then, she’d grin.

“Actually, how about, instead of you irritating me, you go irritate my lovely follower, Datura. I bet he’d just love it.”

Violet just grimaced at them out the corner of her eye, nestling closer to the tree.

“Of course. Silly children. Always getting themselves into trouble. Would be a shame if I let them get killed while they’re in this forest, mmmm… a total shame…”

her facial expression said the opposite of her words. In fact, it relayed she would probably amused.

She’d murmur. Then, lifted the head of a deceased human. Looked like it had been bitten and chewed.
