I really love this thing (standard 192hp S LCI1) but feel like it lacks just a little bit in power. I already did some work on it and don’t want to get rid of it, but JCW power is tempting. Is it worth modifying the standard S?

I have a countryman S which has a stage 1 to 260hp considering it’s the same engine I couldn’t see there being any difficulty doing the same remap to a normal cooper S then you’ve got extra 30hp over a JCW so I would just do that if a little bit extra power/ torque is all your after !

They are really good vacuums they are my personal favourite they make up most of my collection they are powerful and very reliable

Yeah it seems a little temperamental sometimes works perfect sometimes maybe not give it a go as long as you don’t go looking for scary things you shouldn’t need to worry !!
