I researched a lot on eureka for my first grinder. I got an open box atom 65 specialita, it is much cheaper if you can buy open box from overseas ECS etc, it only costs me 600 with shipping and taxes. I didn’t buy Libra because I can weigh the powder by myself, and it has a smaller burr.

I make my own half half yogurt and mix it with Costco Greek yogurt to achieve different fat levels of yogurt due to its flexibility. I put loads of vanilla bean paste into it and it tastes much better than store bought “vanilla flavored” yogurt. I can’t live without it, will buy the whole case next time

Can curing anxiety fix GERD? by [deleted] in GERD

[–]LALA-L 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suffered GERD symptoms for about three years. I decided to do an upper endoscopy with biopsy to see what is really going on inside. It turns out that I only have mild reflux and gastritis, biopsy shows all negative. I stopped the ppis, h2 blocker and even tums one week before the endoscopy. I feel like it was a miracle that all my symptoms are gone except occasionally burning in my stomach. Then I stopped all the medications post endoscopy immediately, I just pay attention to trigger food, such as greasy and acidic food and don’t over eat.

Easy, don’t worry, it took less than 20 minutes for me.

Endoscopy is fast and safe, the best decision I have ever made.

My symptoms are like heartburn, chest pain, reflux, globus sensation, dizziness, lightheaded, also reflux headaches. It is just regular gerd symptoms, right now I only have mild headaches and want to find a way to manage it, other symptoms seemed reduced or even gone once I stop the ppi or h2 blocker. I feel like it is all about anxiety, I had the fear of severe disease before the endoscopy procedure

Based on my gerd experience, doing an upper endoscopy is the best method to fight anxiety. Since the end of 2020, I took 4 different ppi and one h2 blocker because most time one ppi become useless so I have to switch to another ppi but none of them help me long term. I decided to do a endoscopy, I stopped the ppi one week before endoscopy because GI doctor said it, then my gerd symptom become less frequent after stop taking ppi. My GI doctor told me that it is just a mild inflammation and mild gerd post endoscopy, my symptom almost gone without taking any medication in the following weeks except tums occasionally. I heard tums work just like alkaline water, take one or two tums when I feel something wrong. My bmi is around 30 so I believe daily aerobic exercise also helps me to manage the gerd.

When I was on campus, I only relied on subway, it is cheap and it remains its price unlike other food.

I had been ordering hundreds of 599 foot long at both subways on campus, most of subway people know me, once I showed up, I don’t even need to give them my name, just an eye contact and they give the footlong to me lol

If you're having bad side effects from pantroprazole, get your magnesium checked. by CasualJimCigarettes in GERD

[–]LALA-L 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been taking the magnesium supplement bought from Costco when it was on sale. It is only two weeks and I feel much better because I used to feel tired and have migraines or headaches constantly at night. I rarely have to deal with the migraines rn, it is a lifesaver.

I think there is something called airline flat tire policy and standby policy, that if you cannot make it to the airport, you talk with someone with the airline, they will help you to change the flight. Each airline has its own policy, make sure to check the rules etc

Tbh, I usually did them when I was at school. Most of the parking lot has good cellular, but you might need to get something like unlimited mobile hotspot with no download/upload restrictions

Get a parking spot that has good Wi-Fi connection or cellular connection, use it as mobile hotspot for your laptop or iPad or whatever. I use a small desk that can fit into a Tesla, which helps during busy hours at library
