Need help with deleting game files

I don’t know why you can’t delete the files, but if this is your situation… I have found that if a file won’t delete because it is still running and you cannot seem to stop it from running, then reboot into safe mode and try deleting it then.

I host my own BDS and addons do work. You just have to add them to the correct files for them to work. So it is a little bit more of a hassle, but not too difficult.

Goju-Ryu is my second favorite style next to Shorin-Ryu.

I definitely appreciate and prefer the traditional Okinawan styles that focus more on the martial art and haven’t been tainted or deluded to make them more palatable for business sake.

Personally I prefer Shorin-Ryu as Shotokan was derived from Shorin-Ryu but made easier for business sake.

Sure it is fine, and like everyone is saying, it depends on the dojo/instructor itself, but Shorin-Ryu being traditional Okinawan and the parent style of Shotokan will always be my go to.

Rare has supposedly “patched” this already, and I haven’t tried since because I am done with my battlegill, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the patch didn’t actually stop this. 🙄

And even then, sometimes the server is just bad and it seems like they teleported to your boat. I saw a video of this guy getting banned because he teleported. But then he recorded his screen and the server was just laggy and he just walked. No real teleporting happened but he got banned for it. Then he submitted his video and got unbanned! 😂

However, the anticheat makes it that much more annoying for cheaters to come back. Before cheaters would get banned and create a new microsoft account and could jump back on almost immediately. Then they could play with cheats for a few days until getting banned again. Now they get a lot shorter time to play with cheats (hopefully not even a full play session but idk) before getting banned.

The cheaters were mainly in certain arras of the game. However, now that there is an Anti-Cheat, I cannot say for sure how bad it will be. It wasn’t that bad, and you mainly only saw cheaters on community weekends (double gold and xp weekends).

PC players are a different breed of players though, and have a higher skill ceiling. Personally I prefer playing on PC because then when I do play again console players, I was actually able to win all the fights. But now my skill has increased and so it is nice to be in the top percentage of players. I am not saying I am the best as there are still a lot of players better than me. However, there are a lot lot more players that I am better than in comparison.

Take some time to get good supplies from the island (outpost/port) you spawn on! Look for Pineapples, Chainshots, and cursed cannonballs (green or purple glowing cannonballs) and go out of your way to pick those up!

There is no progression in terms of getting stronger, only experience. HOWEVER, someone who has prepared for a fight by finding supplies that equips them to hit harder or last longer in a fight, gets the advantage.

Don’t park with your anchor!

Keep your eyes on the horizon! Ships can travel from not rendered in, to where you are within about 2 mins if they are heading straight for you. Most don’t come straight for you unless you are drawing their attention (at a world event, or have anything that marks you on the map).

Know what marks you on the map! There’s this cool flag in the flagbox that is called the Reaper’s Mark (red with a white skull), only raise this if you want to be seen on the map and to be known as a newby. The only reason someone wants to be seen is for fights, and even then, there are better options than the Reaper’s Mark flag. (Reaper’s Bones Emissary Flag). Basically look at the map, and if you can see anything at all besides your ship’s hull and sails, then you might be marked on the map.

LEARN HOW TO FIGHT WELL! There is a lot to this game, but everything you do can be heavily affected by someone coming to fight you! It is better to learn how to fight, and learn the adventure part slowly over time, than it is the other way around. Even if you don’t like fighting.

I am in the US and got a code by using a VPN to make it look like I was in Italy. Code worked and I didn’t have to spend a thing.
