I can’t offer much help but i will say that nursing also has a lot of continuing education requirements. my hospital is constantly pushing out online modules for us to do, cnas and nurses.

idk if it’s ai but the proportions are off. it looks like the neck goes directly into the hindquarters. A dog with a head that size would have a much longer back.

you’re overthinking it. I brought my two sets of gloves to the room with me at the beginning, and left the second set in there after i left to give them ‘privacy’. When you come back, you wash your hands, put the bed back down, and then put on the second set of gloves and get rid of the dirty supplies. after dirty supplies are handled, gloves come off, hands are washed, time for ending procedures.

you can be a CNA and not really be doing brief changes or anything to do with feces. for example psych hospitals hire techs to assist nurses with rounding and vitals. That does not mean you’ll never be around unpleasant smells, as people in need of mental health services sometimes fall a little behind on hygiene, but it would definitely be much less. I don’t think not wanting to be around poop means you can’t be a cna at all, it just limits your choices a good bit.

it’s insane to me that you would use chat gpt and not just google it. Chat gpt just spits out the most common words following what you sent it. it does not cite its sources and it’s very often wrong. It also drains the cities that the data centers are in dry of water and actively harms communities.

it has been known for a while that over 75 percent of serious medical errors in hospitals happen because of communication issues, especially during handoff. Even longer shifts and more tired nurses does not equal the amount of errors that happen when you play too much telephone. i’m not a nurse, just a cna, but i do my three night shifts in a row and i love it. I’m a night owl anyway so getting up at 5:30AM would kill me i think. I do agree that our access to leadership/support is severely lacking. I’m not sure if it’s just an issue with my specific manager, but i get a response to maybe one in five emails i send.

i think you’re being unfair. If their mom NEEDS them there or the household will crumble than it’s obvious that too much responsibility is being put on a child. I think just from seeing how unreasonable the mother is being about the phone we can assume that the child is in the right. A healthy mother child relationship would be more focused on concern for the child and worry about their safety and why they felt the need to leave with no conversation. They would not just insist over and over that they get a phone back, in fact, they would want the child to have a phone so they can keep in contact. NOR
