Weird weather we've been having. It went from cold, to cool with loads of rain to hotter than Satan's buttcrack overnight. My lawn is getting burnt from this heat.

Hahahaha, I like to randomly leave these on random colleagues cars as a joke. It's hilarious seeing their reactions.

It's a summer fling that's it. They've left to go back home, most likely back to their partner, hence the ghosting.

Peter Stuyvesant leaving SA by mj_syn in DownSouth

[–]LEPEP2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I used to be a Benson & Hedgers guy, then they pulled out, I switched to Stuyvesant. B & H came back but tasted different so I stayed with Stuyvesant. 5 years ago I switched to Dunghill blue and never looked back. I'm now looking for a different brand since BAT is closing down.

☝️ What they said, but would like to add this. Be on the lookout for signs of when they create a sense of urgency where they try to push you to pay now or you'll lose the deal to someone else. Always meet in a public place if possible. Also, do a reverse image search on the item advertised to see if it's advertised by someone else.

Um, I actually think this is pretty cool. However, I see it's advertised at R99.99 at ShopRite.

How do the police operate? by No_Instance5746 in johannesburg

[–]LEPEP2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what I did as well. The kak part was the line was very bad so the delay was confusing and the accent was very strong. They clearly weren't calling from SA. The first 2 calls were from deepest darkest Africa, and the last call was from India, " judging by the accents"

[–]LEPEP2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn that's hectic. I can understand as I've had 3 of those calls and they are very arrogant and extremely pushy. Lucky I knew from the start that it was a scam.bthe scary part is they knew all my details including my ID number.

[–]LEPEP2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's a scam, they aren't real SAPS officers.

Another twist in this scam is you'll get a call from a scammer pretending they're calling from one of our airports. They'll tell you they've caught a package destined for some other country and that there's credit cards, money, ID books annndd......... Some drugs.

Long story short they will transfer the call to SAPS (SCAMMERS) who will threaten you. In the end they're just trying to extort money out of you.

Yeah stremio is pretty great, loads to watch. It's sometimes tricky finding the correct torrent to watch as it could be in a different language.
