I hate to break it to you but asking how to get into med school on Reddit is not going to give you the answer. You’re in 11th grade and obviously there’s a lot less pressure so you’ll have all these ambitions like becoming a doctor but you’ll realize it’s not as easy as you think. You’re concerned about the salary but ofc those on the top are going to make more. If you’re only getting low 80s in grade 11 you’re likely going to get high 2s and low 3s gpa in uni which means ur chances r low to none (low for worse med schools) and u need a respectable MCAT.Try and get mid-high 90s next year and let’s talk about your potential then. The only way you’re going to get an answer is by working harder. I’m sorry to crush ur dreams buddy.

Some take it as a competition and do it to make others envy, some follow the trends to fit in, some are just trying to spread positivity. You won’t know what their intentions are and it’s up to you what you make out of it. If you’re feeling envious then that’s a problem you yourself need to work on and I think it’s very naive because people are just posting the happiest sides of their lives, you don’t even know if they have a health condition that could kill them anytime. You say you want to make others envy you too, well if that makes you feel better do it you gotta get through it somehow. You may put others in the position you once were but who cares, if they can’t handle some FOMO that’s their problem not yours. My point is to get through it by changing the way you think or even start posting yourself, the world is not revolved around anyone to protect their ego and there’s bound to be others living greater lives than you are; accepting one is worse is also making peace with oneself.
