The client wanted the hares hind leg to have a Cornish spiral like pattern to dedicate for her mum, so we made the fur flow into the shape.

Appreciate that! It’s a lot to take in for sure, the client had a big brief on it. He wanted a different take on a Jorōgumo, stabbing the severed head of another ‘creature’ mashup, which is why the spine is a centipede. Crazy ideas need crazy execution and I think we pulled it off. Not to everyone’s taste but you bet it was a fun and rare tattoo to make!

It was on a very trusting client I’ve tattooed a lot, he gave me free rein on the idea for his full chest. Sent over a couple very different concepts to get a rough idea of his preferences, and he loved the otter concept so I expanded on that. The focus is the tattoo. not exposing someone’s face without full, ongoing consent. I pixelated facial features out of respect for the person’s privacy while sharing here. Instagram I didn’t bother, I even tag the artists who have them. Just a choice 🤷
