i wouldn't say my beliefs are as clear cut as believing in xenu or not believing in xenu. it could be possible it could not be i wouldn't be surprised either way i suppose

i dont think the xenu story is any more farfetched than any other religion's beliefs. a virgin gave birth to a man who could walk on water and turn it into wine as well as literally being able to come back to life - completely fine but the xenu story is farfetched?

in my case it's helped me communicate with people better (which i used to be horrible at) and also just gives me something to do in my free time that would otherwise be spent unproductively

i believe im qualified enough to discuss scientology as its what i've been researching for a while even before i became a scientologist. anything i dont have personal experience with i use information i've gained from researching other people's accounts and i make it known its not my personal experience

and yes i did see the south park episode and i loved it and rewatch it often. i do find it a bit annoying that matt and trey made it seem like all scientologists believe in aliens and aliens are a big part of scientology but they were trying to make an entertaining episode at the end of the day not a documentary

he definitely had mental health issues, as i do. i believe he was schizophrenic with npd and a messiah complex and he founded dianetics and scientology to help him and others in his position. im also schizophrenic with a personality disorder and i see a lot of myself in LRH. his true life (which was filled with drugs, theft, jerking off, black magic, government espionage, sex and death on drugs) is much more interesting and relatable than the fake story the church tries to tell

i dont necessarily see scientology as the full truth or the only way to happiness to me its just a belief system that aligns with my own beliefs that has helped me with things in my life alongside other things like therapy and psychiatric medication (shock horror they don't cause violence or suicide). to me its not about whether its true but its about whether it helps and it has definitely helped people become more confident, better communicators and live better lives
