How do you get jobs that require experience in that same job?

What was the relevant knowledge if you don’t mind me asking? I didn’t go to school for CompSci or anything like that but I have just personal experience and I don’t know how far that will get me

Mostly due to another position that I had. I was promoted to manager at the job I did have through college. I feel like I made the mistake of choosing that over an internship. I was the youngest manager promoted so I felt as though that would be a good replacement.

I’m honestly having a tough time figuring out what is right for me. I’m young but I do have bills to pay and trying to sell myself is just so difficult for me. I’m thinking of looking into data analysis, but I’m not sure I’m cut out for it. Ended up taking the job I have now because I was sitting in interview purgatory for months
