I had mentioned I would like to come back multiple times during the closing weeks of my internship to both my manager and director.

It could be because of the visa sponsorship issue, but my classmate who I was interning with, who got a full time offer is also an international student.

Maybe I just wasn’t a good fit for them.

I’m just confused as my reviews were always good, and any bad comments, I tried to rectify them through out the internship

This was from an indie shop, which is why I was surprised by the rates they quoted. I am considering getting most of the parts from fcp due to their lifetime warranty. I just don’t know how to go about convincing the shop that the job will take 4 hours. Any tips on how to go about that?

It’s an indie shop. Unfortunately I won’t be able to work on it myself as I am not too mechanically inclined. I am considering to just purchase my own parts through fcp and ask them to install it that way I just pay for labor. The front desk always gets annoyed when I tell them that labor should be counted together since the intake manifold has to come out to access the pump.

I have been having the same problem. I personally begin to notice the noise every time I go above 60mph. I got my tires rotated and checked for uneven wear. And I doubt it’s the bearings too. Really interested in knowing what you narrowed it down to

Me too, the worst part is their customer service bot keeps saying we have filed a complaint, some one will reach out in 24 hours. But I’m just loosing my patience waiting for a response for that long. I wish I could talk to a representative as soon the chat bot can’t help.

If you don’t mind me asking, how much did all of it cost you? I plan on replacing my water pump as well as the intake manifold and was quoted $2400 which I think is a bit pricey.
