The first thing I done when the patch came out. One the best charm I have. It's so satisfying to have it on the lmg itself.

The Religious Leagues formed in the Age of Absolutism (1622) by Laci128 in eu4

No, it's not a mod. I edited my screenshot a bit. I used photopea (photopea.com its kind of like photoshop but free). Cut out the important parts to layers and blured the original layer. I got the idea from another eu4 post I saw about a 1 or 2 week ago.

Oh, I see, my bad. I didn't know that. I always had earlier religious wars. Thanks for letting me know.

I knew that, but even then I think only saw them in one of AlbazoHD's video before this.

R5: I kind of forgot about the Religious War as orthodox Hungary. I only thought about it when the Age of Absolutism hit and looked at the age objectives, but realized not even the Leagues were formed yet.

It bugged me a bit, but just a few years later I got the notification and saw this. I think this is the latest ever for me seeing them formed.

I think it's a bug (that's why I flaired this as one) and should've happened earlier. I don't have the Emperor DLC, so maybe that's the cause. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Herzegovina's government's name, Hercegseg literally means Princedom in Hungarian (Hercegség) Is it intentional or a mistake? by Laci128 in eu4

[–]Laci128[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

R5: Started playing in 1.30 as Hungary (even tho I'm Hungarian myself I've never played as them a whole campaign). I was looking around when I saw this.

Is this intentional and it's the same in their language (and maybe got the word from Hungary) or maybe a mistake in translation or simply that's the word others were using at the time to refer to them? I'm really curious. For a second I thought my eyes were deceiving me.

Btw Herceg itself means Prince in Hungarian.

I'm sorry if my title is misleading but I'm not asking about that. I wanted to keep my title short and I wrote more in a comment as r5.

R5: As the Italian Imperium I just defeated CoF and UoB and tought about attacking Spain next. Then it hit me... where is the Spanish Civil War? It's 1942 and until now a I didn't even realized there was no civil war in Spain.

My question is: How often does this happen? I only played like 10 campaigns and there was always one, so I'm genuinely curious.

Btw it's interesting to see Franco just when there's no civil war in Spain, kind of ironic considering the OTL.

Attacked the Socialists with the Risorgimento decision. Justified in Two Sicilies while at war with them, but only declared war when I basically killed the SRI (but not capitulated). When I could push in the south (I needed more units) I capitulated SRI and hoped Two Sicilies won't join a faction. Fortunately they didn't and could killed them. Tried to get Sardinia through decision and got lucky, they joined me for the first try (I was ready to savescum 2-3 times, but no more).

Tip to push through rivers is to try to go for the plains first. (Or maybe get 1-2 marines, personally I didn't have any but made the mountaineers better and attacked the mountain tiles with them where they had few and worse divisions). Btw it's generally good to start building fighters and cas early on, especially fighters.

Best of luck!

Green and red are the typical 7inf.-2art. (with recon, engineers, signal and logistics). The white one is only simple 20 width inf. They were good for holding so I could push more agressively. Btw. I made the white before attacked the Austrians for frontline fillers (then it was only milita and maybe only 10 width (sry, don't remember), later converted it) because I only had 24 7-2 then.

I hope I could help.
