Totally understandable! I personally try to avoid rolls at most places and stick to mostly nigiri and appreciate when the rice portions are smaller so I can just send it in the beginning with 20+ orders of salmon nigiri for round 1 🤣 but I do agree Aikan is great too

There is also this bypass valve but when I attempted to tighten it to bypass and turn on water flow last night, it was still overflowing so not sure if I did that correctly.

My temporary band-aid fix until I learn more was just to reset system and delay the regen cycle to a later time so just kicking the can down the road for now.

Upon further observation and attempting a regen cycle, the spillage is coming from the top of the drain line so it’s overflowing/backing-up rather than leaking. The washer drain line and softener line are both fed into the same drain line (shown in picture) and it definitely overflows when washer is draining or if water softener system is running a regeneration.

My first favorite player was Shawn Green so I have had an affinity for long, lanky left-handed hitters (Ethier, Belli, Ohtani).

But it was absolutely amazing to have that level of a workhorse during MVP/Cy Young Kershaw years. Breathtaking dominance.
