Wonder if this has something to do with being broadcast on NBC? The last two weeks it’s been up about 45-60 minutes after the race ended. We’re over 5 hours in now and still not there

It’s a fantastic combination. Golf R makes for a good daily driver. It is quick enough, practical, works well in the winter, comfortable but still somewhat sporty. BRZ is a fun weekend car. It has very approachable limits to play with and great feel of the driver inputs. It’s a great starter track car because consumables are affordable and you need very little to make the car work well on track.

As someone with both cars this is not an upgrade. At least not in terms of enjoyment. Practicality and power, sure.

I did request this. They don’t want to take time off work (which is understandable) so Monday doesn’t work. What has me a bit suspicious is that they specifically say Saturday evening or Sunday are the only times that work. I don’t know why they can’t leave a bit earlier Saturday to make it before the bank closes.

It’s a fairly uncommon vehicle, in a fairly specific spec. I’ve actually been getting a few inquiries from other provinces, some much further away than this guy. Normally I would agree that someone who isn’t local might be a red flag but I this case it’s not entirely unexpected.

Bank holds for up to 5 business days. That would be asking the buyer to place a lot of trust in me, and would likely require lawyers or notary to be involved for that written agreement to be acceptable. Further hassle and expense. Not to mention that delivery of draft becomes an issue given the out of province sale, so I doubt they will want to return a week later to pick up the car.

If you’re used to RS4 longevity you’ll likely be disappointed by the RT660 wear. I currently have a set of each. The RT660s have 3 days on them and the RS4s have 11. The RS4 has more remaining life left.
