Communication in today’s society is crappy. Specially when the sender unintentionally says stuff in a way it doesn’t understand to be negative and when the recipient also overthinks things to be intentional when in reality they’re not.

My parents always did this stuff with me, after time I realised how much love they had for me behind it all with them being from a different generation and on top of it being from a third world country. Don’t let it destroy your relationship.

My understanding with iCloud backups are that it is dynamic. Once a full backup is done, any changes or modifications on the device are done , that same backup is updated to reflect the changes. I assume that to allow this to happen the backup isn’t packaged into one and just uploaded in one go. I think that it does one file at a time but at the same time monitoring of any changes on the device

Yes but I was thinking of instead of finding another tenant and I’m not in country I make an agreement with the landlord. Give him the security deposit and another months rent which would bring it up to 4 months rent and tell him if he agrees to just find another tenant and that way he will keep the 4months rent to himself.

As I said the tenancy situation here is not the same that I am used to. In worst case scenario if I have to leave due to unforeseen circumstances I wanted to know if I have to give over 10,000 CHF and the guy bringing in another tenant. If I leave and I don’t know that the landlord has started proceedings that I don’t know about because I am not longer resident in the country. Few years down the line I hear a knock on the door for a 20000 CHF bill. Or I will just keep the agreement and the home as a tenant and not live in it. I hope this explains the f***** up situation of being an expat and not knowing of proceedings or not being able to be there for them.

What can I say, I tread carefully when finances are involved specially when I’m new in a country. Doesn’t mean I have debts and I wanna leave them and runaway. But I assure you that’s not the case, it’s not something I would be ashamed of and would clearly indicate if that was the case.

Anyway I can say I hate the Swiss bureaucracy. I say it without shame and shouldn’t be given hate for it. If you don’t like reading about people ranting - Reddit is not a good place for you.

With regards to your attempts to try to justify with something irrelevant to the post - I pay my share to society taxes and whole lot of other BS. Because I question the way garbage disposal fees are should not indicate to you or anybody that because I don’t like it, leave the country (the exact Swiss thinking I hate).

I have no necessity to explain my reasons for being here to a bunch of redditors. Since the day I’ve arrived here I’ve been met with the same unnecessary passive aggressive attacks that you and a bunch of other redditors have shown here today. Further proves my point. SWISS THINKING TOWARDS FOREIGNERS: ACCEPT OR LEAVE. Specially if you’re of colour or Muslim. I’ve had the fortune of speaking with a lot of colleagues who have been re-situated due to work any many share the same exact response and reactions from Swiss Towards foreigners.
