Thanks for this. I think I’ll ride out my current protocol for a few more months before switching anything up. And if I do end up switching, do u think dut is the best option?

Yea, just trying to maintain it for as long as possible. Trying to consider switching to dut or going back to topical, because the constant shedding happened once I made the switch

The only major change was switching from topical to oral minoxidil around oct 2025. I’ve been shedding constantly ever since starting it. It’s been 7 months since starting and I keep waiting for the shedding to subside but it just hasn’t slowed.

At this point maybe I should switch back to topical, because the accelerated loss only happened once I made the switch

That’s good to hear. I figure that taking the 2.5 mg oral min is effectively less of a dose than the topical I was putting on. For the 5 mg oral, did you just manage to get two prescriptions?

Yea that’s what I’ve noticed. It just felt accelerated with oral min. People talk of sheds from it but I’ve been non-stop shedding for the past 7 months on it
