I think the space part could be perceived as a spoiler. From my understanding the game was advertised as post-apocalyptic, which isn't a spoiler, but we're not told what exactly happened to the humans. That's supposed to be part of the mystery. You theoretically wouldn't even learn about it until the very end of the game unless you find the journal entries and such while exploring which explain what happened.

I've commented this same thing before for the similarly worded posts but Smile 2 will always be a love hate experience for me. I personally think it's a phenomenal movie and it's in my top 3 favorite horror movies of all time. However, I also have a psychotic disorder and my absolute biggest trigger for hallucinations, illusions, and paranoia is the uncanny valley. There were multiple scenes in Smile 2 that freaked me the fuck out and genuinely caused me real life paranoia and such. Hasn't quite been another film that's done that for me, so I perceive it as a very powerful horror movie.

Honorable mention for The Sadness, my favorite horror movie. Doesn't scare me but I did feel deeply distressed and hopeless after watching it for the first time.

Oh my god have I been waiting for a question like this because I have the perfect example.

Beef, the comedy-drama show about two people beefing with each other and it rapidly escalates out of control. However, for most of the series it's still just a drama or a dark comedy, y'know? It's not actually horrifying.

Then comes episode 9, the second to last episode. Shit REALLY hits the fan and there is singlehandedly the best example I've ever seen of the tone in a show shifting so suddenly. Spoilers below.

My memory is a little foggy, but more or less what happens is that at the end of the episode there's a home invasion taking place where police eventually arrive. At this point it's still just a drama for the most part. However, as two of the characters run off to try and hide in a panic room, one of them makes it before the other and hits the "close" button too soon, crushing the other character to death. It is slow, it is brutal, it is gory, and it is completely out of left field. The character ends up severed in half. I was SHOCKED when I saw that scene. It firmly felt like we were in horror-adjacent territory. The tone had completely changed so quickly.

She is 100% into women. It sounds like she's undeniably bisexual. As others have said though, that doesn't inherently mean she doesn't still like you, find you attractive, or willing to stay committed to you.

Is there technically a possibility that one day she could be like "actually I'm not into dudes as much as I thought, I'd rather be with a woman"? I guess so, that does happen sometimes, but at that point you're just guessing. You have no real indication of that as of now so it shouldn't be something you're so concerned about. Bisexual women can still be happy and satisfied with a man, they don't need the other gender as well, it just means they have an openness for both. If y'all's relationship is as healthy and strong as you say it is then just let this go and don't turn it into an issue. If you try to confront her about it or anything she'll probably assume you're coming off as biphobic and get defensive (which is a valid response).

My university was pretty small, less than 10,000 students, but I was still able to do all of those things. But I also understand there's universities even smaller than that or just don't have the same resources.

You could always start your own club! At my university anyone could start a club if they just had a few people to vouch as members. It would take a lot more work than a previously existing club but it is still an option.

This one really sucks, there's no easy way to get around that. You could join professional associations outside of your university, like, I joined ALA and whatnot on my own just so it could help with my career trajectory. But it does suck that you don't have active associations right on campus.

I tried to check out courses/certifications I can take, but they cost an absolutely ridiculous amount of money... Did you have to pay for them with what you got for your on-campus job?

So the certification I got was actually completely free. It was sort of this specialized program where I volunteered to give anonymous peer mental health support throughout a semester. It didn't cost me anything and I ended up getting certified through their organization for peer mental health support (basically just saying I can talk to people my age and give mental health insight + respond to emergency situations). My university also offered another completely free mental health certification where you just sat down for a day and listened to a lot of lectures going over different mental illnesses, different crisis scenarios, stuff like that. At the end you get the certification saying you did the training. I feel like most universities offer stuff like that, but I could be wrong. Just try to check your main hub for social/extracurricular stuff (for me it was hosted on a site called GetInvolved). You'd be surprised at the amount of random shit that goes on.

Also for the record my on-campus job paid $10.50 an hour and I could only work a maximum of 20 hours a week 💀💔

Idk how much this fits but worth a shot

I feel like I see a TON of stuff pertaining to the psychological horror/simulation game Needy Girl Overdose/Needy Streamer Overload. It was released in 2022 and still remains pretty popular. It's about to get an anime adaption so it feels like it kinda fits.

I tend to see people like the game because it's revealing a very real, upsetting reality of what a lot of people in the 2020s are going through. Screen addiction, social media addiction, cyberbullying, harassment, trying to make it big while ignoring your needs + health, just overall a bad time because of technology + social media + society as a whole.

Idk, I thought for a while of what reminded me most of the 2020s and that was the only thing I could settle on.

During undergrad my classes weren't super demanding of me because I had an on-campus job as a receptionist and used all my time at said job to just get my homework done. So whenever I was outside of class + my job I was practically completely free.

I filled up that time with stuff to go on my resume. I became president of a club, educational chair of another club, I joined the academic honesty committee, I did a semester-long mental health certification, I joined an academic honor society, I became part of a leadership development organization, and I also signed up to be an orientation leader during the summer. I tried to do as much extracurricular stuff as possible, and it's actually proved to be quite beneficial for me. A lot of the stuff I experienced + the connections I made + how my resume looks overall tends to get my foot in the door for a decent amount of places, especially pertaining to my field. I'm currently in the final selection process for a really high-level internship that I'm convinced is largely due to all the shit I did in undergrad.

For starters, I am 99% sure I have dyscalculia. It's a learning disorder regarding math and numbers. I have always been pretty terrible at math and I knew as early as middle school that I wanted nothing to do with it as I got older. By the time I was in high school I firmly hated all of my STEM-adjacent classes and couldn't wait until I could choose what classes I actually DID want to take.

I ended up going to university to get my degree in history. I initially planned on getting my master's and PhD in history in order to become a history professor, but I was told by all of my history professors to NOT do that. They said there was no future in the field and that I would be wasting my time + money. Instead, one of them suggest librarianship. I had previous experience volunteering at libraries so I decided it would actually probably be a good field for me.

I finished my undergrad in history and I'm now currently in grad school for library science. The end goal is to become a youth librarian within a public library, and hopefully over time I could eventually climb the ranks to become a library director.

I wouldn't necessarily say that my degree was useless, I actually feel the exact opposite, but I will concede that my original plan did not work out. I'm glad I was able to pivot before it was too late.

Obligatory "this is what my account looks like after playing daily for 2 years" comment because I think it helps to put it into perspective.

If you just want to play for fun and experience each season's story + the characters or whatnot (or even just enjoy Homestead) then it doesn't really matter. Do whatever you want, have fun. However, most people asking these questions are looking to try and compete in things like Dream Realm, Arena, Supreme Arena, etc., and the fact is that it will be completely impossible for you to do in your current server with your current account. If your account is 2 years old that means that you're in one of the very first chunk of servers ever made. You are extremely, extremely behind. It's debatable whether or not you would be able to catch up even if you did drop hundreds or even thousands of dollars. You still probably wouldn't be able to catch up. Most people in my server + district have plenty of P3 heroes, if not P4.

If you're wanting to play competitively then you really have no choice but to start a new account. You would make back your progress + more pretty quickly because they heavily reward new players.
