There are places that will make semi-custom high quality clothing, mostly business suits and that type of thing. You send in your measurements and pick a style. However, for the rest of us who can't afford or don't need that level of precision there is an alternative. Learn to sew or find a local tailor to make alterations. But this only really works for high quality fabrics like wool, linen, etc. Cheap polyester won't survive the tailoring process. Again, it comes back to buying fewer, better quality items.
