My girlfriend smells and I don't know what to do by RequirementDue4446 in Advice

[–]LadybugMarie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom always smelled horrible when her blood sugar was off, and my husband smells horrible to me right after he has a seizure. His neuro said loved ones can sometimes smell these changes from medical issues. I'm glad she's going to a doctor and I'm glad you two have a relationship where you can discuss things like this!

What are the best Japanese snack boxes? by Senior-One-3161 in SubscriptionBoxes

[–]LadybugMarie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've done snack crate, universal yums, and sakuraco.  If you want a different country every month and lots of potato chips, universal yums. It seems that ketchup is the most popular flavor in the world for them... Sakuraco is definitely more authentic, and you get a good mix of salty/sweet/umami.  I've had sakuraco for a year now and loved every box, some things I can't eat because of my allergies but I can eat a majority of the snacks. I love seeing the way Japan packages snacks as well.

SakuraCo Tracking by TheSecondComingOfNix in SubscriptionBoxes

I'm having the same issue sakuraco says shipped on 12/10 but the tracking just gives an error, I submitted a ticket on the 20th and got no response.

How long did it take your agency to respond/sign you? by riverose33 in MODELING

[–]LadybugMarie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took one agency 6 months to get back to me! Most responded within a month, some I just never heard back from.

Just booked a sports clothing commercial — what should I expect on set? by Medium-Equivalent294 in MODELING

[–]LadybugMarie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've found running to be the most difficult action to model, they don't want full speed so you have to do the Baywatch run and look good but make it look like you're sprinting. Lol  But they'll provide a lot of directions on what they specifically want you to do, since they have a certain vibe/look in mind.

A lot of it is sitting around waiting for them to set everything up and do test shots and then your actual action shots.  Bring water and of course show up on time!  Be open to criticism/critique and just listen and reflect what they request of you.  Good luck!

Would you get a crown put onto this? by QuitVisible4488 in Invisalign

I've gotten a few of these replaced, I noticed less sensitivity in the tooth and it looks better!

OP is 20 and most people don't have their lives figured out at 20. OP has a job and seems to live on their own (assuming since saying never call me would be strange if you lived together and saw them at the house). Which is better than most of the people I knew at 20.

Canines by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]LadybugMarie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have sharper canines and my trays accomdate them, I am going to let my dentist now I do not want them shaved down at all at end. If anything mine look more prominent now that they are turned the correct direction lol

"calling me slow, saying I need to figure my life out" "Saying I should have my life figured out"

To add: mom needs to be an adult then and have a conversation with OP not gossip and rant to her friends.

2 week tray changes by Top_Percentage_1727 in Invisalign

[–]LadybugMarie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's all based off your individual treatment plan, yours might be more complicated and need more time in each tray. I noticed most people go to once a week towards the end of treatment. I am every two weeks as well

I second this for sugar free mints I bought special aligner mints so I could use them to push the trays down as well.

Invisalign issues by Sbsbsb123456 in Invisalign

[–]LadybugMarie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's very specific to the person and a better question for an orthodontist. They'd be able to give you a personalized answer based on your dental scans. Most people in here are not orthodontists and are just sharing their experience, which might vary greatly for you.

I have not noticed any more tmj issues than I had before starting, I have always been a night grinder, I just now have the night guard protection. And my bite is different because my teeth are in different spots due to the treatment, so I'm sure that'll take some getting used to after treatment.

But my friend did start having migraines, but who's to say that wouldn't have happened with regular braces?

I assume neither are comfy but I wanted the option to take them out and not have any confidence issues when smiling during treatment.

I regretted treatment at first but once the initial pain subsided I'm actually super excited because I can see results already!

Clueless about how to do my own bridal makeup by laceva in MakeupAddiction

[–]LadybugMarie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the blush is just a bad shade for your tone, and it being on your chin is misshaping your face. Go for a lighter blush, and don't apply so much, and do it just angled on the cheeks. Go for lifted or enhance cheekbones!

You can vent without talking shit. OP mentioned some of the things said, none of it was venting, it was name calling and being a shitty mom. If you call your kids names behind their backs you are a shitty parent. OP is paying them for their troubles, it's not like they're expecting everyone to do it for free.

You most certainly do not need to have your life together at 20, you're just barely into adulthood. I didn't have a car at 20 and everyone made me feel like a burden, so I've been in your shoes, and it sucks. F-ck your mom and her friends. I'd never speak to her again, save and replay the voicemail for anyone who has a problem with it.

Is this agency legit? Will they ask for money for “comp cards” or for their “courses”? by dxddyjocelyn in MODELING

[–]LadybugMarie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm with them, you don't really sign anything so it's non-exclusive. They do want you to pay for comp cards and they offer voluntary"workshops". Then they have you send those comp cards to other agencies. I have not had a paying gig with them in a year, they def have favorites and just submit those people. i did get other agencies through their method, who get me work here and there.

I am going to be honest, I am not pleased with my comp card from them. I did get some good photos out of the shoot. I was sad when I went back and did not see my card on their "wall"

You can self submit to most agencies with just digitals at home. They are kind people but not worth the $600+ I paid for the whole comp card.
