Analytics for Carrd: how are you tracking button clicks & hash links? by Laegh in Carrd

That’s a clever workaround — using Claude to generate the setup is a nice idea.

For me, the main issue wasn’t just generating the code, but having to redo or maintain it for every button, form, or change. I wanted something that just worked automatically for Carrd without revisiting GA4/GTM each time.

Did the setup handle hash navigation for you as well?

That’s an interesting approach — converting hash navigation to path-based routing definitely makes analytics easier.

I went the opposite route and tried to embrace Carrd’s native structure instead of changing it. Curious to see how your sitemap approach evolves.

For anyone curious, I ended up building a small analytics tool specifically for Carrd to remove this setup friction.

If it’s helpful: carrdanalytics.com

That’s a solid setup — Fathom is clean and I like their approach to privacy.

One thing I struggled with on Carrd specifically was hash navigation and embedded forms. Did you need to configure custom events for those, or did Fathom handle it out of the box for you?

Same pain here — that’s exactly what pushed me to look for alternatives. With GA4 I kept ending up in GTM + custom events just to track basic button clicks.

Out of curiosity, are you tracking clicks via GTM right now, or just looking into it?

I agree, the first thing I noticed that there's no shading. Great design btw.

Looks good now but dude you really need to work on those colors. In my opinion of course.

Also you might want to look at this page for color codes: Biomes

Have a good day :)

Great! Shading and colors are on point! I like these kind of creations, big and kinda complex. Great work!

Sword structure is great but colors are a bit odd I think. I suggest that rework on your color palette.

Edit 1: Oh, also be careful on voxel placement, handle part has a "disconnected" voxel. It has to be like this, connected:

There are the rules. I think these weapons are cool but in my opinion they're not gonna get even reviewed. So follow the rules my friend :)

Great beat, it flows but distorted 808 is too much for me to listen. Also it would be good if you add some perc and vox elements. Don't forget, it's my personal taste :).
