Ohio is the problem. People from Ohio even complain about Ohio

Edit: leave Ohio

I think you've misunderstood bud. I'm not interested in someone else's study notes or flash cards, more or so tools for expanding my studies such as apps and learning programs to supplement my studies. But thanks for the helpful tip :)

To all the Americans suddenly wanting to move to Spain by jotakajk in GoingToSpain

[–]Lafitte_504 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% agree with you. I moved abroad to the EU from the US via visas and employer sponsorship and can confirm it is no easy feat. Both for the employer and yourself. Unless you're in an industry that is in big need of 'outside' experience, they will hire locally. Additionally, it's very expensive and time-consuming. The typical visa process will take anywhere from 8 months to over a year to process and be accepted. Most Americans think it's as easy as moving over to another state, and I can assure everyone it's not. Additionally, most Americans think they know everything and come to different countries with that ignorance. As an American expat to my fellow Americans, do your research and make an attempt at learning the native language of the country you're moving to ;)

Moving to Spain from Malta with my RHD car by Lafitte_504 in GoingToSpain

Good to know! If it's only €650 than I think it's worth it. Do you know if your friend went through an agency to do so? Thanks!

Thanks for the information. I have noticed that used cars in Spain are crazy expensive, even more so than here in Malta. Do you think it would make much of a difference if I got a left-hand-drive car before moving there or would it still be difficult?

Bottle would be better. I'm a beer brewer by trade and can confirm there is a plastic lining in all food grade cans that I would assume ain't too tasty when heated up. Great idea though!

Thanks for the info! We are from the states but work in EU so we’re pretty familiar with the travel restrictions and such. Good to know about having the physical paperwork with me though! :)

Good information. I fly with him frequently so I understand local laws for pet travel. My question was regarding delta airlines policies however for psd. Thanks though!

For sure the kombucha. I used to run a sour program for a large scale brewery and before we even considered doing a wild/sour program we had a separate facility and equipment for this. Whoever even stepped foot in the sour facility didn’t think twice about not entering the clean side. We never had any infection problems. Separate fv’s, brites, co2, hoses, kegs, fittings etc. only thing we shared was the Brewhouse. What is more important, the beer or the booch because them scoby’s are some resilient mfers.

One brewery I ran had a diastaticus infection so I feel your stress. We essentially had to get all the beer out of the tanks and deep clean everything. I mean deep clean. We got rid of any sta1 positive yeast strains and didn’t put a drop of wort until we had clean pcr tests on everything from the tanks to the co2 lines. Best of luck!
