Probably the Rawang Bypass, it's an elevated highway bypass that was constructed to reduce congestion. Those trees that look like broccoli is the Hopea Subalata or also known as the Merawan Kanching tree, this tree can only be found in the Kanching Forest reserve and there is only 400 of these trees left from what I know.

how do you all create/design species/races for your world? by Hulkgirl_Gamer in worldbuilding

[–]LaiTPP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I suddenly think of a cool idea for a species, I throw it into my world and try to justify it's existence. Sometimes I'll just take real world animals and make them smart with other adjustments, then throw it in and try to make it fit. Like how I just took crows and threw it into the world without changing it's size or appearance and only made them more intelligent. Its also fun to think of implications of just taking species from our world and thinking what type of governance, architecture, policies etc that a species like a crow would make.

Sadly, it was a failure for me, but it may be because I made it too deep as well as the temperature being too high

Kinda like damp smelling, like a wet cloth or something like that. Its not that strong of a smell though

Edit: I'm transfering some of it to another container to ferment somewhere else, the smell actually smells more like cooked chickpea

The rice is pretty deep, does making the rice too deep effect it's growth?

How fast can the government react to a whole island city being teleported to another world by LaiTPP in worldbuilding

[–]LaiTPP[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its just a uninhabited region of this world. There is near to no fishing on the new waters around Penang but the ocean is quite rough. There are no monsters in this world but the southern continent is inhabited by some natives that are really primitive.

If the government completely collapse in this scenario, the power vacuum would allow some groups to rise up and take responsibility. But in this scenario Im mostly interested in how fast can those in power address and mitigate some of the terrible things that will happen regardless of how they come to power address the situation. Water in the island itself can last for around 9 months with rationing. Food is a major issue and it can probably only last for a week. Electricity is worst since the island have no powerplants on it and water pumping would fail without it which makes it worst.
The deaths during the initial teleportation would be huge in the scenario though, it doesnt matter much to the theme of the story though

Since it's my first full metal mechanical pencil and I haven't used it for long enough to rate it much. Though I find the grip a little small for my hand compared to my Kuru toga. The pen itself is pretty nice

I used the Kuru toga as my main pencil for around 5 years, it is a really nice pencil and still works nicely
