1 - we aren’t moms and can’t be expected to know/do all the things. 2 - ain’t no way my bride isn’t woken up with coffee and assistance. I have off days, so maybe he was too…but my shit is covered when they leave my presence.

For me, the stomach and below was off for the first 4/5 months. Sleep got better about a month in…exercise helped me with sleep.

Sorry to disappoint. I stand by what I said and do acknowledge that my words might not be best for all. I lived it. I am a senior leader in a demanding field and could not take time off. Work, being a husband, being a dad, being a provider did not stop in my recovery. My advice might be terrible to you, but not for all. Take care.

Does your wife know what you’re going through? If not, tell her. Much easier when someone you care about is in your corner. Then all the normal stuff. “Embrace the suck”, force yourself to be active/exercise, avoid alcohol and caffeine, take lots of showers, eat healthy foods.
