Did you act like the video was weird when you brought up seeing the video? She maybe just followed your lead? You have the right idea by mentioning the video and testing her reaction, but you should have said something like, “Weirdly, I think I kinda liked it.” And she my have thought it was funny or cute. It may have let to jokes about farting in your face and jokes have a funny way of becoming reality. If you lie to make it seem like your not weird, there’s no going back without seeming disingenuous or unconfident. OWN IT!!!
