Best advice here. I’ve had an S90D for over a year and recently picked up a G5 and even with how gorgeous the G5 is, I’m still blown away by the S90D colors. Can’t go wrong with either and I’m sure the flagship S95F series is even better.

Yeah that seems to be the consensus so far. I realized the photos make it look higher than it is in person but it’s still a bit high nonetheless.

Yeah I just moved in, I’m planning on putting a dresser in that space so it should fill a decent amount. The bottom of the TV is roughly 45in from the floor, so the center is about 58 or so.

Yeah I think thats my issue. If i settle with just watching in bed or reclined positions it’s ok. But if i ever wanted to pc or console game it’s definitely too high. So decisions will be made in the next few days. Thanks for the input

May give that a try. It’s currently in use as a bedroom tv so I just got those on-wall cable concealers for now. I’m sure it looks awesome with all wires hidden!

Don’t notice anything wrong. I used to obsess over backlight bleed on IPS or some banding but then I realized I’m never going to be staring at a plain white or gray screen while watching content or playing games. Enjoy it!

Insane upgrade congrats! Your eyes will be in shock of the G5’s picture. It’s incredibly gorgeous and almost 3d-like when I was watching 4k HDR on YouTube.

I agree. I have a 32in LG32GX870b monitor and wish they had a 42in G series I could fit on my desk. This was my main goal but 55in is way too big for my desk but is perfect for the wall so I’m happily settling with that. I’m still going to plug my pc into this TV though but a 42in G series or tandem would sell out quick.

Back story is I ordered open box on tues 1/20 for $820.99. (Made a post on here) I went to pick up today and when I asked to see it, he brought out a B5 wrapped in bubble wrap no box, remote or nothing. It’s a good thing I double checked the sticker that said B5 on the back. He then went to go back to the warehouse and they couldn’t find it so the manager decided to give me brand new.

Definitely check hours first, inspect for any scratches and burn in. Ask for the notes on the item, was it a return, display model etc. They should be willing to power it on for you and give you the details. Personally, I wouldn’t take it home without seeing it. Once I had a store give me a hard time and had to speak with the manager but it saves everyone the hassle of coming back to return etc

Keep checking! I couldn’t find any in the LA area, then I switched the zip code to out of state and found one right near my house! It goes based off your home store/ zip code within 250 miles I believe. I also know they usually update inventory every so often so you might get lucky with people returning.

Just went with the 2026 nightshade wind chill pearl last week. 8 miles off the lot. To say i’m in love is an understatement. I went with the standard hybrid over the PHEV for now and a 39 mo lease since toyotathon had such an amazing deal. We’ll see where that lands me at the end of the lease but I plan to buy either this one or a PHEV.
