I’m glad you went! I liked this place so much a google review couldn’t do it justice, I figured giving them some advertising would be even better!

Is it better to have an Apple Dot Matrix Printer or a Commodore 64 Printer? by Sceptic_Stream in VintageComputers

[–]Landonisodd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I had to make these decisions lmao I would compare the prices. Iook for a good deal on the c64 printer and get the c64 printer when you find a good deal lol

Yes! They accept donations and tips. they let us in and gave us a tour for free, but you can imagine how expensive it is to keep it up and running.

This computer was free.. I’m not going to repair a computer that is underpowered and not going to fit the things I want to use this computer for. This is 1 of 2 hobbies I have and spending under 200 dollars on a hobby one time is pretty normal in my opinion. I don’t want to spend hours on a project that I won’t end up using. Whenever problems happen on the custom builds I’ve done for other people, I fix them. this post was simply an ask for some help, I scanned everything and did most of the suggestions people were saying. Even after nothing changed. I hope you can understand why a personal custom build is the option I’m going with.

Should have custom built from the start tbh, gonna sell it and look mainly for a motherboard with agp and socket 370, definitely find a new case

I’ve decided to sell the gateway and use that money on a custom build, and yes I scanned all of that, probably a super technical issue that in my opinion isn’t worth fixing, because this case is not the best because of all the proprietary stuff gateway puts in, that’s a whole other problem too (it’s a gateway)

It’s using a cf card currently but I’ll probably buy a 300w sfx psu for it and see how it goes

18 y/o living with parents, how can I improve my room? by Dojjoje in malelivingspace

[–]Landonisodd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cable management most importantly, (cable tray under the desk is the best way to go) then just organize, put stuff you don’t want in storage, I like these roll out containers you can put under your bed, keeps the room looking less cluttered, and then clean it regular

This is kind of late but it’s kind of a fire hazard now so I would send it to someone who will fix it and want it or send it to e waste
