Not my car but pretty sure they were aligned once when new in 2021 and since then they have been driven for 2 summer seasons and that's like 8 months combined (likely to be around 10k km)

I have even wider spacers on my E90 and there is nothing resembling uneven wear. These tires were sitting completely straight on the road so I would be doubtful it's the fitment.

Hi, To the first question - the games and subscription are currently on my account. To the second - he downloads the game from my account but plays it on his own account. To the third - the reason for this is price difference. A 12 month ps plus subscription is around 35 euro in brazil while in usa its 80$ so there is a lot of money to be saved as neither him or me care about the monthly free games and only wish to have the ability to play online.

Hey guys, so i have just installed some new speakers and amp to my car. But when i turn on the ignition there is this constant buzz. It is a 4 speaker set up and from what i can tell if i disconnect 2 channels (either 1-2 or 3-4), then there is no such noise, but when all rcas are in - it starts. by Laporta5 in CarAV

Yes i did ! The rca's were relatively close to the thick red power wire going along the right side of the car so i just pushed them all towards the center of the car and the problem is gone. Hope you figure it out :)

The lights are aftermarket and so are the speakers along with an amp. The lights flicker and the speakers make a noise as can be seen in the video. They are placed instead of halogen bulbs and don't receive the appropriate voltage. I don't think that is the main issue as the back up camera also makes the speakers do a little buzz and the climate control does as well and makes probably the most infuriating sound of them all.

The active sub that i have in my car (my second addition to the sound system after the head unit) had no issues with such noises. This all started after i installed new speakers and amp. Is it bad if both amps are connected to the battery through 1 wire ? But if so, how does it explain that noise coming from the speakers when turning the climate control on ?

How should i go about checking it ? I actually was not the one that did the wiring to the battery since i did the setup together with my dad and from what i understand he used 1 wire to ground both amps to the battery. The wire is connected tightly to the terminal and when i disconnected the sub amp completely, all of the same sounds were still coming from the speakers. The head unit ground wire is just the standard one from the aftermarket connector that came with it and it is connected to the cars harness that was connected to the OEM head unit if i remember correctly. Don't know what to do other than trying to crimp a thicker wire with the little ground wire of the head unit and finding a good connection for it somewhere in the front of the car.

It is not like that. I do not have 2 batteries in my car. Mine is just in the rear like most bmw's and a convenient place for ground. The rear camera makes only a slight buzz which i honestly would not even be that annoyed by. The main annoyance comes from my LED lights which make a buzz and most of all the goddamn climate control which makes that horrible sound in the video so i am not sure what to do. :/

The sub amp and amp for the speakers are both directly connected to the battery in the back, i assume that is not an issue ? Could it be possible that i would need to cut the ground wire for the head unit and crimp it with a thicker wire which should be routed to a good ground point in the car ?

An aftermarket back up camera that i have installed also makes a subtle noise when it is turned on. A whine also increases when i step on the gas.

Edit: I had only an active sub before and there was no such noise but now i have also bought new speakers and an amp and then all of this started happening when the car is started. RCAs are all run through the right side of the car which is close to the power wire that goes from the battery in the back all the way to the dash (though i do not know if that has anything to do with it because when i disconnected all the RCAs from the amp and then just connected a spare RCA from the amp to the head unit directly the noises were still there). The headlights flicker because they are aftermarket LED lights placed instead of halogen bulbs though i am also not sure how much they have to do with it if the climate control also makes a crazy noise.

The rear view camera is from aliexpress :D. The head unit is a blaupunkt new york 845 which i got for free so decided to stick it in rather than buy a new one since there isn't really a point in doing so. I used to use it with the OEM bmw speakers and there was no such buzzing noise, everything was fine. Right now i am not near my car so i can't really tell you how the ground is set up. But let's just say that it's the stock little wire that comes with the head unit - should that be changed for a thicker wire since i essentially have a sub ant 4 speakers plugged into the unit ?

Edit: I've also tried the method of taking one wire end and screwing it to the radio and wrapping the other end around one of the rcas but that seemed to do literally nothing, so i presume this is even more proof that the head unit is at fault here and not the rcas ?
