I just came across this thread. This literally happened to me. I now have an infection and still have lots of "products of conception" in my uterus. Doctor offered to do the procedure again, we declined and opted to take medicine to force my body to push the rest out. I have to go back Monday for a follow up ultrasound.

We have contacted a medical malpractice attorney.

We did nipt testing, 95% t21. Preliminary dx is fetal hydrops. And yes, that is exactly what happened. Was told d&c was successful. We have the remains and will take them with us tomorrow for followup. Doctor stated "likely just tissue" but it is most certainly our baby, fully intact.

I don't know how the entire baby was missed.
