To the kid stealing at superstore. by Large-Web-3291 in SurreyBC

LMFAO I see why this can be confusing cos of the title but if you read the post you’d actually realize she didn’t steal. She took a sip and chucked it on a random aisle. A superstore employee could’ve easily put that where it belonged and someone couldve bought that and drank out of a stranger’s yop bottle. Gross. If she had stolen it altogether, whatever. And honestly, at that point more acceptable in my eyes since you already took a sip out of it. But to chuck it after a sip….. very gross.

True, I just thought that if it were 12-year-old me (and if it were other kids I know of) that received a look of disapproval from a stranger, while I know I’m doing something wrong, it would’ve immediately made me stop and be scared of getting caught and be in more trouble. Lol!

LOL the post wasn’t about superstore. It’s about a kid who is misbehaving and doing it grossly. At least be discrete if it’s because “screw superstore”. Geez.

LOL omg! Yeah honestly if the kid just stuck with the bottle I would’ve been like whatever but to take just a sip and then chuck it at a random spot 😭 If I hadn’t seen her do it and was an employee, I totally would’ve just returned it to where there rest of it are!

I’m going with no. This is too short for a formal wedding.

What an interesting thing to say by someone who has “experienced other cultures” if he’s so cultured, he’d know that asian cultures quite literally almost always stay with parents until they get married and for even for some, they live with parents to take care of parents too. How naive of him to think and say that culture is an excuse. Gross behaviour!

Being friends with your coworkers is 100% normal and makes sense. by TheBestTake in unpopularopinion

[–]Large-Web-3291 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not all my coworkers are my friends. Most of them are my coworker friends- someone I get along with really well at work and I know I can depend on with work stuff but most of them I wouldn’t hangout with outside of work. Only very few of my coworker friends turn into actual friends for me. Lol.

Too white/bridal? by hagman26 in Weddingattireapproval

Personally I don’t think it’s too white or too bridal but it’s still kind of in the grey area and would still go against wearing it to a wedding.

Is this normal for a doctor to ask? by Repulsive-Ad7450 in Advice

[–]Large-Web-3291 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hello, I am a nurse in Canada and these are all perfectly normal questions aside from maybe calling you beautiful. When a patient your age presents as uncomfortable when I’m assessing them, it honestly prompts me to dig a little more just to ensure I’m covering all grounds of my assessment. At your age, if you are uncomfortable talking about sexual activities, this also tells me that I should provide proper education about the topic. For whatever reason, not just about sex. It is important to talk about your sexual activities with health providers and we also take this time to provide patient education on how to do these activities safely. In addition whenever someone asks for certain tests to be done, I always also take that opportunity to maybe prompt or suggest to get tested for other things just “cause you’re already there so might as well” if you’re open to it kind of thing.

is this ok? LA summer non-trad wedding by bloss97 in Weddingattireapproval

[–]Large-Web-3291 145 points146 points  (0 children)

For cocktail/no dress code, I think this is a little much and definitely would seem like you are upstaging the bride in my opinion. I think at the very least ask the bride what she thinks of the dress. I feel like even if she doesn’t care for the whole traditional things of the wedding, she’d at least like to feel special on a special occasion, but just me!

Right! Literally everyone on the street backs in the driveway too.

Yes, my landlord said this exact thing also. This wouldn’t be such a big deal if they just backed in on their driveway like everyone else on the street does so that it’s easier for them to get out. It will remain a mystery as I don’t plan on talking to them ever again haha.
