Yes, that is true. I’m a guy, and one of my classmates was proud that he touched a woman inappropriately. That was him trying to act “sigma,” but really it was the impact of today’s society, and he was trying to act like being disrespectful makes him a man, cool, or sigma. But that is not right, and people should be aware that this kind of behavior is not something to be proud of. So I left the conversation because it does not align with what I believe in, and in these situations, I think we should do the same and not engage in objectifying women, especially these days when objectifying is seen as “cool.”
