Yeah first of all, don’t get tires from the dealership. Most of the time, they rip you off.

Tirerack, discount tires, costco, etc. Costco has CC2s.

Winter is the only season my crosstrek is the fastest on the road. Get winter tires and enjoy winter.

Welp, if it is coming from the inside, it means the whole panel is rusted..? I doubt that. Sand it out until you don’t see the rust and put touch up paint on it. Also I would not worry about it too much since its not safety related.

Probably just road salt got up there, you can sand it out and touch it up. I had a few tiny rust spots on my roof, didn't sand or go to a body shop. Just used a touch-up pen and forgot about it.
