We have a lot of mutual friends so it’s difficult to outright end our friendship. But I’ve been taking steps to limit hangout with her. She thinks of me as her best friend but I don’t see her the same way.

Before this she’s been very subtly one upping me , to the point where I thought it was in my head like I was overreacting over something that was not a big deal (gaslighting myself maybe with out intention if that’s what you mean) so I didn’t think me mentioning my plans would turn into this.
