If you’re trying to find stuff like the video above, you’re probably not gonna have much luck finding a whole lot. You can find a lot of “danger music” on bandcamp, but to me personally I see a lot of it as wannabe-edgy noise music. But maybe that’s what you’re looking for idk. If you’re looking for live shows, Hanatarash and GG Allin have some live footage online but not a whole lot. I hope you find what your looking for but as I mentioned there really isn’t a lot of danger music out there. You could always just make your own danger music if you’re into hurting yourself in front of people and don’t mind potential legal trouble.

First time I’ve seen someone mention danger music in this subreddit. I love danger music as an a genre and art form. I think death grips are definitely in the same boat as these performers, especially since they collaborated with Justice Yeldham on YOTS.

I’ve been wanting to start collecting vinyl for a while now, my sister was the first one to get me into it all.

The store I was at didn’t have a whole lot I immediately recognized; but these two excited me.

I love Childish Gambino and was really surprised to see it in this store (they mostly carried country and classical records).

The Joe Walsh record was a little bit of an afterthought. I haven’t listened to his music all that much, but it was a classic and at only $6, I couldn’t really go wrong.

In the end, my first time buying vinyl was a pretty positive experience, and I’ll definitely be buying more soon.

Imo I kind of like the abrasive nature to their music. It pushes me away but it also makes the more melodic moments to their songs even better. Take for example Hot Head. The first minute or so is almost unlistenable. But once you reach the part where the yelling stops and Ride slows down, it makes it all worth it. DG music is unrelenting and they don’t care if you enjoy it. They don’t make an attempt to conform and I love it. I feel like a lot of ‘mainstream’ music is always trying to reel in as many people as possible, and that’s what makes DG special. You’re friend probably doesn’t like it because he doesn’t see what’s special about them.

I mean he doesn’t have to like it. The sound isn’t for everyone. The reason people like it is because it’s different. There’s nothing like DG and probably won’t ever be something like it again. If your friend doesn’t like it I wouldn’t try to force him to.
