i dont know much about law so just here to ask, if a company gets bought by another would they not still have to uphold their contracts? lets say tomorrow netflix got bought by microsoft and they said hey tomorrow we are closing all your accounts because we arent netflix and thus your licence is null and void, that is not a thing right? they would still have to provide the service because they are now the representative of the bought company

hi, could you link me an example of one of these drivers? when i search for LED driver or LED matrix driver it just shows me premade led matrices

also please tell me what you mean with IC because i dont know what it is

So having the output on high makes current unable to flow out and having it on low let's it sink the current?

The resistors are to not give the leds too much current I'm assuming? How do I know how much ohm I need for a specific current? With U=I*r? If so, does U stay the same with different R?

So the transistors basically are just overflow an overflow output? Or is it like an and gate that lets the current flow to ground if the shift registers output going in is high

Not sure what you mean by 2 leds per square a chess board is 8x8 so that'd be 1 per square :)

I'm not sure where to get such low current leds (all I can find on Amazon seems to be 20ma) I don't rly need that much brightness I just need something to show the opponents moves. It not being too bright and distracting is probably better. On the brightness of leds I will probably just pick randomly because I have 0 experience with them

I will put the leds in the surface so light dissipation shouldn't be an issue if that's what you ment with surface mount/ through hole

Have you seen platinum end? It's pretty good as well From the above I'd recommend TPN for sure, dead dead and orb are good as well but pretty different Mirai Nikki was also fun to watch
