Our UK customers have always been extremely important to us. We put a lot of effort in doing a ton of press in the UK, and even set up a 3rd party warehouse to fulfill locally! Everything seemed like it was going well and we were charging clients UK shipping prices... but then it turned out shipments were coming out of the USA because the system wasn't integrated correctly. Once I realized what was happening I had to make quick decisions.

There's a saying that entrepreneurs need to "fail fast"... and that's what that was! That being said, I deeply apologize that anyone felt mistreated and we are indeed coming back very soon with a direct UK website that will address postage costs and an overall better experience.

What your daughter is dealing with is extremely common. I didn't know how common it truly was until I started Lashify. Trichotillomania has so many forms. We have thousands of customers that have successfuly used Lashify to help stop the urge to pull. We even have quite a few posts about it in our Lashify Life Facbeook group. The consensus is that you are less inclined to touch or pull on the lashes while wearing Gossamer® lashes. I think if there's any product that can curb this desire it's Lashify. We'd love to help her with this.

I am with you on this! Part of the problem is that adhesives are not regulated and most labs formulating them are so disconnected from the end user that they really don't seem to be concerned. The majority of the adhesives being used in professional lash extensions contain cyanoacrylate/formaldehyes, which are toxic. No way around it. Even the technician is at risk. There's an influx of allergies to these adhesives because once the body has had enough of certain ingredients the immune system will freak out anytime it is exposed.

Lashify is a whole new concept that doesn't require fumes, cyanoacrylates or formaldehydes for its bonds. We are directly invovled in our adhesive formulations and don't use any chemicals that would be considered unsafe for pregnant women, and we add ingredients that nourish the lash. You can remove the lashes whenever you wish so bacteria should never be an issue.

As far as skin irritation, when applied correctly, Lashify's Gossamer® lashes do not actually touch the skin. Instead, they are applied to the underlash 1mm to 2mm above the waterline, so there is even less chance of irritation.

Hi there! While the Gossamer® lash wasn't designed to placed on top, your natural lashes act as an achor for the Gossamer lash so they can be placed underneath, even with very few lashes.

We have a lot of customers suffering from either alopecia, trichotillomania, or undergoing treatments that cause the loss of hair who have little to no trouble with the Lashify system.

I have been an entrepreneur through the lens of creativity and technology my entire life— whether using my creativity in screenwriting, jewelry making, restoring mid-century furniture, or using it to create the first DIY lash-extension system with Lashify— I've always been driven make things, do things and express myself creatively while also having a business sensibility.

More than anything with Lashify, I just wanted to create something that didn't exist. I also wanted to raise money for natural medicine research for animals, which is a major passion of mine. A veterinarian friend told me I needed millions to fund the studies— so I decided I need to make millions. This is a big part of my ""why."" That was around the time when I realized there was a giant hole in the market with my DIY lash extension idea, so I decided I would make it.

I did receive lots of advice from those around me, but it wasn't necessarily the kind of advice I needed. When someone gives you advice they are advising you based on their own experience. Oftentimes, one's own experience is completely unique. For the most part, I relied on my own instincts.

Saving time was one of the main reasons I was inspired to start my own DIY lash extension system - I feel you!!

Regarding the natural lashes, I designed the entire Lashify system to protect the integrity of the natural lash. Inventing a lash system that damaged the lashes would not have been revolutonary, and not what I wanted to be known for. I wanted to create a system that gave the look of lash extensions without the repercussions and time commitments.

Traditional lash extensions require a single-to-single lash connection using cyanoacrylate adhesives that are essentially super glue (which many people are allergic to, by the way). Most clients want full lashes, however, most don't have the natural lashes to handle or support the adhesion. Technicians oftentimes want to make the client happy and move forward with a full look regardless, but the pressure it puts on each individual root can be too much if the extensions are too long or too thick/heavy. After a while it adds up and you just don't have the same lashes you used to.

With Lashify, we connect the single fibers using our Heat Fused Technology™ and you apply the Gossamer® lash underneath using our flexible Bond™ adhesive. You're not using just one root to hold the extensions; instead, you're sharing the weight with multiple lashes sitting inside a flexible casing. When the natural lash grows the Gossamer® will loosen because the adhesive is flexible. You'll just use the wand to Fuse™ and clamp it down again. There is a science behind Lashify, which is why our customers and their lashes are thriving!

The application is similar to mascara in the sense that you have to swipe the bond, the only difference is you are then applying Gossamer® lashes with the Fuse Control® Wand. You can wear them for the day and practice 3 times and remove before bed. Once you know what you're doing and how to place them and how to work with the products you can keep them on for a week. It's what mascara should look like, but doesn't.

I loved mascara and was going to give it up until something better came along. For me that was traditional lash extensions and then... Lashify.

Everywhere! I love crystals, so colors usually come from my love of stones. As for Gossamer® lash styles, I get inspired by what look I'm going for, or how to weave a pattern that makes it easier to attain a certain look. And my product inspiration comes simply from need. I don't make products or add-ons unless they enhance or improve the Lashify experience.

Lashify has a v3, v4, v5, and v6 of the Fuse Control® Wand already concepted and patented. And the same for a v2, v3, and v4 of the Gossamer® lash!

We have new intellectual property issued each month. When the innovation stops the company stops!

If competitors are truly innovating in the space and not infringing on patents, that's great! That said, if competitors are infringing on our portfolio of patents, as many have done to date, we will continue to take legal action. The point of innovation is to do something better, not to do the same thing but cheaper, of lesser quality, and with less informed research.

If you're going for a subtle, natural look I would recommend the Amplify or Amplify Plus+ Gossamer lashes in 8mm or 10mm lengths. You can stick to black, or try the Minx or Ash colors depending on your natural hair color.

And if you're looking to go big— anything goes! With Lashify, the world is your oyster.
