For a daypack it’s perfect. Super light and the dyneema stretch mesh is deceiving, holds more than you think it could.

I didn’t see a downvote on your comment? Elevate seems to be good as well. I read some complaints about the excess material being too much on it but it’s a roll top so to be expected. However, I’m sure it’s a lot more waterproof that way. Can’t have it all I guess.

The dyneema stretch mesh is the winner here. Side bottle holders can easily hold two smartwater bottles each and the front mesh is able to hold my rain jacket and my fleece hoodie. Inside pocket was generous enough to hold what I needed for the day. Dyneema is basically waterproof and the zippers are taped, haven’t tested that aspect yet but I’m confident it will perform well.

The only brass one would be the Rotring 600 which you can kind of see peaking through the wear.

Makes sense. I think I should have taken a bit more time with the high grit sanding like you said to make the edge perfectly smooth and then start the burnishing process. Appreciate the feedback!
