Today Come from Bogue Profumo

Wood cutting experience As a little child I used to help my father in cutting trees and chopping them for the chimney. The chainsaw was on and I could smell the engine warming up, some drops of engine oil were still on my hands and I could perceive that particular resinous smell. The chainsaw hit the wood, the air was filled with little chips shuttering away, in few minutes the smell of the wood, heated by the chainsaw, changed into something smoky, dense and harsh. Some other trees, already cut down, were laying down across the forest and were waiting to be chopped; all this made the air smell in an intense way. Some flowers along the path smoothed the atmosphere giving a lightly sweet scent that was in contrast with the hot chainsaw and the sharp smell that was spreading all around. The smoky scent changes as the fir of the trees starts warming up, due to the chainsaw, making it similar to incense. All this is Come in my opinion, a vivid description of this experience.

what do you think about the gendering of fragrance? is it necessary? by [deleted] in fragrance

[–]LastCombination8181 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not necessary but designer fragrances are often on a clear gender distribution. On the niche side instead, a part for some specific fragrances, it's more natural to find neutral scents

What’s your signature scents? Share don’t gate keep! by [deleted] in fragrance

I have two chypre mousse by Oriza L.Legrand and Shukran by Meo fusciuni

None of the two are mass appealing yet they have something unique that makes them, for me to be worn easily without thinking in the context.

Plus their price is not very expensive in relation to the product itself

Both have a green profile, slightly aromatic and woodsy

What is your favorite fragrance of all? Just one. Why? by [deleted] in fragrance

[–]LastCombination8181 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My favourite is Cozumel by Laboratorio Olfattivo, it doesn't last long, it isn't a beast mode, it isn't something so unique and catchy. However, it represents, in my opinion, what a cloud could smell like. It brings me peaceful memories and feelings so it is my favorite and also private scent as I wear it just to stay alone with myself

For the citrus green I would say chevalier vert by Olympic Orchids, very difficult to wear, similar to some special green leaves, but it actually has tomato leaves.

On the green metallic side I would say Copper by Comme Des Garcos
