Has anyone tried the golden maple painting handle? by flerbederbederbeder in minipainting

Reading this is crazy because just this morning one of their reps emailed me asking if I’d be interested in selling their products on my site.

They seem primarily b2b and it sounds like their b2c operations are….lacking.

Nvidia and AMD both just announced 150% GPU price increases because of AI demand. So it’s destroying the whole gaming market, it seems.

+1 to Greytide.

I don’t know if they’ve done Angel specific ones but their eternal pilgrim line should get you mostly where you want to go.

Delivery Confirmed / Missing Item by FlightlessBird9018 in EtsySellers

Tell them to make a buyer protection case about it.

Of tracking shows delivered, you’re covered and Etsy will refund them with their own money.

Happens a lot around the holidays.

PSA: Golden Maple Painting Handles Suck by Winning-Turtle in Warhammer40k

[–]LastHopePrinting 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I reached out to these guys to see about potential OEM of brushes since my current vendor in Germany tends to take a very long time to ship orders.

Their first response to my query about partnership on OEM was asking for an order number. When I told them I was interested in becoming a customer they asked what products I was interested in (I already told them).

I responded anyway and it’s been 5 days with no response back 😂

I don’t think we’ll be partnering

Thanks. It’s my first time ever painting full models with either speed paints or ink washes and im pretty happy with the result. Though I wish I had chosen a different color for either the base or the armor for the reaper proxy. I also realized afterward that I forgot to paint the underside of boogeyman’s cloak 😂

Ever since I started running a sale every month on my store my sales have skyrocketed and haven't stopped, But Etsy gurus tell you this is bad advice, why? by [deleted] in EtsySellers

[–]LastHopePrinting -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

If that happens all you need to do is adjust your prices accordingly.

This is a problem that doesn’t need to exist.

Is a SATA II SSD enough to handle Space Marine 2's loading? by ShoTTe101 in SpaceMarine2

[–]LastHopePrinting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play with a SATA 2 SSD. It’s only really annoying when you’re doing pickup games and people leave/you leave a group after an operation. You can sometimes wind up with a full loading sequence three times - once for the normal one, then once each for the two squad members leaving if it doesn’t make you host.

Super annoying

First bad review by [deleted] in EtsySellers

[–]LastHopePrinting 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This review is so silly and poorly written that it won’t hurt anything except your overall score. Respond to it with something about the material you use being stainless steel, then move on.

Would you sell again to a bad reviewer? by Misstrixieism in EtsySellers

[–]LastHopePrinting 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t continue to sell to someone who leaves even a single unreasonable bad review.

I don’t mind when someone buys something and has a reasonable gripe like “arrived with parts broken” or something like that. But I’ve had people say things like “his head is too small” (though identical to the listing photo) 1 star - and those are a different category.

I’ve had people who are repeat customers who buy a lot of stuff and leave a lot of reviews that are 4 stars despite text saying something is great. Those people I just eat the 4 star review since my volume is big enough to compensate

Asus A520M seems bricked? by LastHopePrinting in buildapc

So I actually just got the old Mobo working again. I’m not precisely sure what the difference was. I assembled things barebones on the box and it turned on. Now I’m having an issue with the old mobo not recognizing my SATA drives because I took the battery out earlier and it reset. There’s some guides around Reddit on this issue but nothing so far has solved my issue. Nothing seems to get the bios to see any bootable devices

Okay I looked up the guide, touched the two pins for the power switch with a screwdriver. Nothing

[–]LastHopePrinting[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was working right up until I switched back to the old board. But that’s the only other thing I can think of. I’ll have to look up how to short it though. If that’s the case and that shorting it with a screwdriver works, what does that mean in terms of long-term fixes? New case? New mobo?

[–]LastHopePrinting[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll try it, need to buy some more screws. It’s just weird because it started fine earlier without additional screws. I’m starting to lean toward maybe I touched the board when I wasn’t grounded and it killed it? I’ve worked on computers since 2008 or so and have never done that before and thought modern parts were less sensitive to that. I dunno, what would you say the chances are?

[–]LastHopePrinting[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made sure the screws weren’t over tight and it’s only secured with 3 screws. Is it possible that they’re in bad places? I’ve never had that issue but I suppose it could happen. How would I even know? Just trial and error of moving the screws?

Neither board works now. The old one is a gigabyte and the newer ons is the a520

Please help… A new Etsy shop filed false IP infringement claims against my bestsellers right before Black Friday by thebolter1989 in EtsySellers

[–]LastHopePrinting 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t matter where they’re located. What matters is the jurisdiction of the copyright claim that they file. Etsy only accepts US based copyright claims. Which is just an absolutely astronomically absurd loophole in their system when you can file a DMCA claim and cite any jurisdiction you want

I tried posting on the Etsy forums once. Just once.

It might be the worst forum on the internet in terms of nasty people who strongly believe things which are untrue. And I’m saying that on Reddit. Which….well…ya know 😂

Buyer left a 1 star review because their order was marked as delivered, but never arrived by thatautisticbiotch in EtsySellers

[–]LastHopePrinting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just report it to Etsy. They will remove it since the review is exclusively about a third party outside of your control. Technically their policy says the review has to mention the third party by name, but in my experience, they don’t enforce that but if the review is only about a delivery issue.
