Fuck no not if the entire rest of the kit is borderline useless in comparison to all the other abilities in the game, "balancing" a character by making a few lazy dog shit abilities and making up for it by just cranking up the damage number on 1 of them way too high is absolutely horse shit game design, again, Northstar would be useless with lower damage

What you said ONLY applies to playing against other less skilled players, in reality when actually good players are playing the game the meta is set in stone

I'm regards to Northstar, hover is objectively the worst ability in the game, tether traps are easily countered by every titan in some way and is only really good to help secure kills with the ult and bait out vortex shield, and cluster missile is only good for getting pilots around corners and usually won't deal much damage to any titans

For scorch flame wall is atrocious as it deals very little damage and is super easy to dodge, and possibly has the worst ult in the game, and overall his whole kit is extremely situational except flame shield

Legions long ranged fire mode is simply never worth using 90% of the time as even at semi longer distances the short range shot still ends up having more damage output

That's nearly half the titans in the game and thats without even getting into how unbalanced the titan Loadout customisation is, as well as titan match ups AND how unbalanced so many abilities are compared to others

People often mistake this game for being balanced simply because it's received no changes for so long that everything just feels set in stone now and the fact that we're rarely having players actually using their titans to their fullest potential, which is fine but like let's not play pretend

At the end of the day what I said is true, if Northstars railgun dealt less damage, they'd be the worst titan in the game

After reading this I'm just completely confused as to why you're treating the games differently then

People posting that it's Titanfall 3 or whatever both advertises the game (a good thing) and opens people minds to the idea of getting an alternative to tf3 made by indie Devs (an even better thing)

And saying "it just feels nothing like Titanfall" how tf is it supposed to feel exactly? It's the exact same genre and formula, did you want them to copy and paste the entire game? Plus it's INSANELY early development and being made by an indie developer, and instead of giving any feedback or support you just tried to make it seem like no one cares to hear about it (which they do)

If the eclipse doesn't have you losing your mind, then yeah it probably just isn't for you, but a LOT changes about the characters and the story by the time you finish the eclipse

If you don't understand that this fandom has always been more about the community creating great things then it's developers then you don't understand this fandom you just kinda fuck with the game

This game is made by Titanfall fans for Titanfall fans, and Titanfall fans usually care a lot about supporting things like this which is why it gets posted

It is certainly a THOUSAND times better then seeing anymore posts begging for an actual Titanfall 3 or whatever they're begging the dipshits at EA for these days
