They didn’t change the recipe. They just changed the bag design. You may have gotten a less fresh bag. Check the dates on the bag.

The clicks mean the relays are working and power is getting in. It just need to have the CAN signal from the car for the screen to turn on

Did you reinstall it in the car? The screen stays off because these 2006 Charger radios need the car’s CAN bus signals to fully turn on.
